In the beginning of this episode, we find Erinn knowing she needs to beat out the three Jalapao, knowing they’ve been together for a while. Taj seems like she’ll remain loyal to JT/Stephen and JT and Stephen still look like they are in control. In the immunity challenge, the survivors had to get puzzle pieces climbing through tubes on a platform that looked like a spider. It was a close race between JT and Erinn, but JT became victorious, earning immunity. Back at tribal council, Stephan and JT talk about how close they are to being the final two, and earning that ceremonial final two breakfast. Meanwhile, Erin talks to JT and Stephan, asking them to vote for Taj, knowing she’ll possibly be hard to beat in the final two, thinking she’s played a good social game. So, in Tribal Council, there was one for Taj and one for Stephan, and the other two votes went for Taj, and she was voted off.

I really thought one of two things were going to happen: They would tie it up, so that Erinn and Taj had to fight for their right to stay in a fire-making challenge or Taj and Erinn would team up to get Stephen out somehow, hoping they would take control. So, it’s now Day 38, and Stephen decides to tell Erinn it would be “suicide” to take JT to the end. So, Erinn, Stephen, and JT each participate in the right of passage, talking about the thirteen survivors that fell before them. In the final immunity challenge, the survivors had to roll balls down a chute, and catch them at the end. If they drop their balls, they lose. On round three, with three balls played a piece, it was Erinn who dropped her balls, losing. So, with either four or five balls on, it was between Stephen and JT. Once again, the winner was JT! Back at camp, Erinn spills the guts, and tells JT that Stephan wanted to vote him off. JT was shocked. But at tribal council, it was Erinn who was voted off, making Stephan and JT the final two.

JT and Stephan get to enjoy their breakfast they’ve wanted since day two. So, it comes time for the final tribal council, where Stephen reveals if he won that final immunity, he’d probably would’ve taken Erinn to the end. Sierra calls Stephen weak, and I don’t think the other jurors were any more interesting. So, it was time for all seven jurors to vote. At the live part of the show, back in the United States, the winner is revealed. By a 7-0 vote, JT is the winner, becoming the second unanimous winner after Earl. Stephen gets to become the next Becky/Cassandra/Dreamz/Sugar and not receive a vote. Join us next season in Samoa, Next fall. I personally feel JT was a very good winner, making this season worthy.

The episode begins with Coach, “almost speechless” after Debbie was voted out. He’s shocked to see himself out of control of the game. And I’m glad to see Coach out of control of the game. The next day, Coach is now complaining about his Asthma and his back. Then, at the reward challenge, teams made their way through a maze that literally spelled SURVIVOR and then had to hit three poles with a bag. It was a close race between Coach and JT, but JT won. For the first time, JT asked if there was any “exile takers”, lol. Coach was sent to exile, and he immediately announced he’s going to deprive himself from sleep and starve himself for the whole time. Erinn make a comment, disbelieving Coach, which got Coach upset. For some strange reason, JT and Stephan were offended too.

At Camp, Erinn and Taj talk about Coach, and Coach’s messed up mind. Meanwhile, at the reward, JT and Stephan each enjoy a shower. Good thing, and thank GOD Coach didn’t win, because he’d sure put a show into shower. Then, JT and Stephan each get to enjoy a meal, in which they were full after eating all the meat. At Exile Island, Coach meditating and asking his “spiritual role model” GOD? If he’s a man, or something like that. He still vows to starve and sleep deprive himself, despite claiming he has asthma and back problems.

In the immunity challenge, everyone had to stand between two walls, and place their feet on a tiny block of wood. After Erinn, Stephan, and Taj were out, it was between Coach and JT. JT outlasted Coach, winning immunity. After the immunity challenge, Coach supposedly had a back spasm, or something like that, but refused to see a medic.

At Camp, it looks like JT is sure he wants Coach round for another day, for absolutely no good reason. However, Stephan sees himself as a swing vote, considering Taj is all set for voting for Coach. Tribal Council was oddly horrific. Coach decided he feels the need to recite a poem. God FORBID this at the reunion. The first votes were read, two for Erinn and two for Coach. The last vote Came out, it was for Coach, and Coach was dragon slayed.

Thank sweet Jesus that friggin Coach was voted off, I really am so glad. I thought it would never happen. So, out of the final four, I really want JT to go next, considering he’s so popular and because he didn’t vote for Coach. I’m saying that I really don’t think Taj’s in this either, and would love for her to lose in a landslide in the final two. I’d be very happy with either Stephan or Erinn wining, and that would just be amazing.

It’s the 30th night, and Debbie is frustrated with Coach (who isn’t?) and decides it’s finally time to get rid of Coach next. It appears she’s already made up her mind. Ha, I remember saying I’d love Debbie for blindsiding Coach. On Day 31, there was talk from Coach about getting rid of Taj. Later, there was an auction. It was a small auction, as we only saw four food selections given out. Then came the family reward. Taj was automatically rewarded the money to everyone by the tribe, and she got to see a cell phone video of her family, including her husband, Eddie George, an NFL quarterback.

However, that wasn’t all, everyone got to see a loved one, as a choice from Taj, but she chose to see her husband at exile, where she exiled herself. Back at Camp, we saw Erinn’s dad, Debbie’s husband, Stephan’s brother, JT’s sister, and surprise, Coach’s assistant Coach, making it the first time someone brought out a co-worker over a family member. Coach babbles to Assistant coach about being “in control” and says everyone calls me the dragon slayer”. No. You call yourself that, you dumb apple, everyone at the most, calls you “coach”. Then, Coach and Assistant coach go off and do this weird, obscene routine where their legs are between each other. Yuck. Then, at exile, Taj meets up with her husband, and they share time on exile. He says she still looks attractive.

Back at camp, after the loved ones left, Debbie talks to Stephan and JT about wanting to accept third place, and give immunity to them so they can vote her out at the final three. Really? That move would be dumber than Erik’s move last spring. JT and Stephan are a little concerned about Debbie. Really, because I would be too. During the immunity challenge, teams had to dig a hole, cross a balance beam, then, looks at ten math operations to race back and solve a math problem. It was Stephan, who obviously won, considering he’s probably, like the best at math.

Back at Camp, Debbie still wants Coach out, and Coach wants Taj out. So, this once again leaves Stephan and JT as a strong swing vote, and could go either way. At Tribal Council, Coach votes for Taj, Debbie votes for Coach, but the alliance of JT, Stephan, Taj, and Erinn vote for Debbie, and she is voted off. In this episode, it was very strange. Why can’t they just get rid of Coach just because he’s Coach? That’s enough reason to vote for him, right?

Debbie made some moves that were pretty concerning, though, and she’s really not all that worthy of sticking around. I really think it’s almost imposable for either JT or Stephan to lose this game. Coach once again needs to shut up, and Erinn just isn’t getting into the game like I thought she would’ve. The only way JT and Stephan would lose is if Taj turns on them, and that, I don’t see happening or want to see happen. Either way, I expect Coach to want Erinn out, but we all know Coach needs to GET OUT!

Immediately, when the episode began, Coach freaked out and began scrambling, wondering why his beloved warrior Tyson was voted off. This clearly left Stephan, JT, and Taj as the strongest three-some. Next, Debbie immediately points out to Coach that it’s possible the final five will be three Jalapao to Timbira’s two. So, Coach plans to make a deal with the other Timbira members, Sierra and Erinn. In the reward challenge, the survivors did a superlatives and chopping someone’s rope type challenge. After Sierra, Coach, Erinn, JT, Debbie, and Taj were out, Stephan won. He chose to exile Erinn and take Taj and JT on the reward.

Next, at the reward, Stephan, JT, and Taj were invited to a farm family dinner, and for the chance to literally, swim in their backyard, which was a lake. Meanwhile, Erinn is at exile island, all alone, starving and being very cold. Meanwhile, back at camp, Coach and Debbie are asking Sierra to get Timbira back together. Sierra says no, simply because they betrayed her. Later, back at camp, Coach and Debbie tell JT that Sierra tried to bring back the old Timbira. Then, Sierra tells Taj and Stephan that Coach and Debbie tried to get Timbira back together. JT, Taj, and Stephan try to feed information back together, discovering someone is a liar.

In the next immunity challenge, teams had to use a hook to retrieve three bags. The first three to do so will move onto the next round. In the next round, they will rotate a ball across a table maze. The first to finish that will win immunity. It was Coach, JT, and Debbie who won the first round. In the maze battle, Coach won, winning himself immunity, making his ego bigger. Before tribal council, Sierra argues with Debbie and Coach over who’s the real liar. This leaves Jalapao with a decision: to vote off Debbie, the liar, or Sierra, the drama mama. At Tribal Council, Erinn, who clearly is one of the longest lasting survivors to go this far without an alibi, personally voted for Stephan. However, Jalapao took Coach’s and Debbie’s side, and voted for Sierra.

I really can’t root for Erinn anymore, I mean, she’s there because other plans have happened. It would’ve been her, if Tyson didn’t get out. I can’t help but root for the Jalapao three, they clearly have this in the bag. It would almost be too good to be true to see them go against each other, especially after they were the minority of the merged tribe. What really makes Coach a loser and hypocrite is the fact he says he plays with honor and integrity, and lies. I actually almost want to see Coach in the final two, just to see what annoying crap he pulls out of a hat for the jury to hear, as long as he loses. He’d probably says stuff like “Umm, yeah, I slayed you all, and, umm, I’m the dragon slayer warrior who, umm, yeah, played, umm, with integrity, pride, and honesty.

So, from the previews, it will look like Debbie is turning on Coach. That’s’ actually pretty interesting, however, it’s probably basically the editors giving us some fake hope. I really doubt Erinn will win, and will probably not make the final three. I can pretty much see the final three being JT/Taj/Stephan, and either Stephan/JT or Stephan/Taj as final two.

So, the survivors return from camp, and surprise, Sierra is crying over Brendan being voted off. Tyson had the nerve to rub it in her face. Sierra looks hopeless, as if it’s confirmed that Sierra leaves next. Everyone is almost ready to vote her off. The next day, Sierra cries to Tyson, saying she wasn’t a mastermind, and Tyson rudely agreed, saying she isn’t smart enough to be a mastermind. In the reward challenge, they all teamed up and had to arrange boards to see through a spelling of vowels, and then solve a puzzle. It was Debbie, Erinn, Tyson, and JT? Who won.

So, during the reward, the survivors enjoyed watching natives dance, and enjoyed eating. Then, they all threw up their meals after they were called to dancing. Later back at camp, Sierra cries to Debbie, saying “Oh, it’s not my fault I made a mistake” and she tries to exclude Erinn from her conversation. Then, Sierra cries to Coach, asking, if not, begging, for a second chance. In the immunity challenge, the survivors had a choice: play the immunity challenge or eat pizza. Ironically, three guys, Stephan, JT, and Coach, most surprised about JT and especially Coach for sitting out. During the challenge, Tyson played smart, but was taken down by Sierra, who was-at the last moment- taken down by Debbie, giving immunity to Debbie.

At tribal council, Tyson, Coach, and Debbie, along with even Sierra are sure that Sierra will be the next to go. Then, Stephan attempts to save the day, and mentions getting rid of Tyson, since he doesn’t have immunity on him, and may never get the chance to take him down. So, at tribal council, Tyson picks on Sierra, like a big brother does to a little sister. So, it’s three votes for Sierra, and one for Tyson, after the first four votes were read. Then, the last four votes shockingly went to Tyson, and he was voted off, crushing Coach’s oh-so-fabulous, grade A, super alliance or warriors. (That’s sarcasm)

That was the best blindside in Survivor’s history, period. OK, Tyson was becoming too cocky, too good for his shorts, and I’m glad Karma bit his head off hardcore. That was just a funny as Corinne losing to Sugar last season. And hopefully, Coach will be soon, maybe next, at best. Erinn, well, I’d never though I’d say this, but now, I’m sure she’s in a very good position, she’s not an idol threat, and everyone probably needs her vote in order to make a majority. JT may have recruited himself as the powerful alliance leader, but Timbira still has four to their three, so if Coach and Sierra teamed up, shockingly, JT could be a threat to go.

Timbira may perhaps be the worst tribe ever, considering they are all worried about getting rid of their own tribe members, JT, Taj, and Stephan could easily slide to the final four, with Erinn on their side, hopefully. Erinn, who was the one I thought would be boring and invisible, may be all over the show next week, considering she and Sierra have to choose to stick with Timbira or Jalapao. Also, props to Stephan for saving the day, and voting for Tyson’ cocky butt, and props for Taj and JT for letting that happen.

The episode began with the most stupidest Survivor ever, Coach memorizing a monologue about the stupidest attempt of a story ever. He basically claims he was in the Amazon, by Peru, getting stalked by indigenous tribesmen, and then getting clobbered, stabbed, and attacked by them. He claims only three people know this story, but what about the press, that would’ve jumped all over that if it did happen. Peru may be a part of the Amazon, but seriously, if he really did get attacked by any tribesman, he either a) was harassing them or b) on their property. And how the flying heck is someone beaten to death going to have the energy to row away from them, especially if they were tied up. I hope he never told any kid this, that would be blasphemous.

Anyways, the survivors had a reward challenge where they throw balls at other teams crates! It was Debbie, JT, and Brendan who won, winning a white-water rafting trip along with some food. Coach managed to be upset he didn’t win, as if his story wasn’t enough adventure for him, and along with the other seven or eight “life-or-death” situations he says he’s had. Grow up, Coach. So, Stephan was exiled. At Exile Island, Stephen established a life goal: to make fire. Yippee. But seriously, if Janu could do that, so could anyone. At the reward, Debbie was ignored, as all we saw from her was “Look at those brownies!”. Then, Brendan says he wants to work with JT, and take him to the final two. He says by having JT in the final two, he’d lose, but consider himself a winner anyways.

Back at camp, when they return, the epic battle begins: Brendan rallies up Taj, JT, and Sierra, asking them to vote for Coach. Then, JT and Taj look like they are on board with it, and it would’ve given them 100% control of the tribe. At the immunity challenge, the survivors had to make their way along a rope and ladder course. It was between Brendan, Tyson, and JT at the end. However, Tyson won. Back at camp, on I believe Day 24, it was sure Erinn, Debbie, Coach, and Tyson were on board with splitting the vote between Sierra and Brendan. Brendan and Sierra were sure they were going to get Taj, JT, and Stephan to vote for Coach. At tribal council, it was a 2-3-4 vote, with Brendan voted off, becoming the first member of the jury.

This episode gave up my hopes, and probably the hopes of the people. But you know what they say, Failure is a blessing in disguise! This means Brendan failed to get Coach out, but the blessing is Coach being blindsided by an alliance Arranged by Sierra. I’m really optimistic on this, It’s not really true yet, and yes, It’d be so sweet to see Sierra win over Jalapao and Erinn. Erinn is probably in a very good position, OK, she could flip on Tyson/Coach/Debbie because she doesn’t like them. Out of the eight remaining Survivors, only Erinn and Sierra are worthy of being there. JT needs to open his eyes, or the only money he’ll see is that pointless $100,000 rewarded to the pity vote given out at the reunion.

The survivors are all talking about the possibility of an upcoming merge. Finally, all of them are given tree mail to be transported to a destination. It’s revealed that this destination, is a place loaded with a banquet of food. The tribes have officially merged into one tribe, and they get to enjoy a nice feast. The survivors talk about what to name their tribe, first they come up with something that sounded perverted, then change it to the Portuguese word for Strength, Farzo.

Immediately, Coach and Tyson form a pack with J.T., Stephen, and Debbie to get Brendan out, as Tyson calls him a sneaky bastard several times across the whole hour. During the show, Joe had an infection in his leg. Meanwhile, Brendan decides to lay low on the cross tribal alliance, saying it’s a “maybe” after Joe or J.T. go home. Coach and Tyson are so confident that it’s the two of them in control of the game that they annoy probably every single viewer to the point where if Survivor had a crowd outside tribal council (Like BBUK has, outside it‘s house), they would be screaming “Get Coach Out”, “Get Coach Out”. Honestly, Erinn saying she may “like” Coach, made me want to remind her of him being Survivor’s biggest joke.

Anyways, it became time for the immunity challenge. The Survivors had to outlast each other on a pole for as long as possible. At the end, probably at the twenty minute mark, it was between Debbie, Sierra, Tyson, and Coach, and surprise, Coach just had to mention they were all from Timbira. Coach fell, nut his fall looked like a “I’m so confident I don’t need immunity” type of fall. Lastly, it was between Debbie and Tyson, and literally, it was the first (and only) time I’d ever say “Go Debbie!”. However, Tyson won. Then, Joe was left behind for medical help.

Back at Camp, Brendan and Sierra are told it’s J.T. who is getting voted off. However, Coach and Tyson ramble around camp, convincing everyone it’s Brendan who goes. Then, there’s a plan b: throw some votes over to Sierra just incase Brendan plays his Hidden Immunity Idol. However, everything stopped when Jeff Probst (the presenter) arrived to camp, announcing Joe has been medically evacuated, and there would be no tribal council. The episode ends with Joe leaving via helicopter. Nine remain, who will be there to see the best blindside ever (or the most pitiful one, if Coach somehow survived)

This episode featured the most annoyance ever in Survivor. If Survivor had no winner, that’d be better than Coach winning. Since Brendan is the threat Tyson makes him out to be, we’ll see how having the idol will earn him the extra allies he needs. If Cross tribal allies all manage to want to stick together, this will leave Erinn, JT, and Debbie as possible swing votes. However, it’s obvious that Debbie would be the last to turn on her precious Tyson. Coach is probably more of a villain than Randy, and maybe as loathed as Jonny Fairplay.

Joe leaving was pretty much a disappointment, however, it does give Erinn, JT, Stephan, Taj, and Debbie another three days to realize Coach is a huge threat, and the biggest joke on Survivor. Anyways, I want to hear more Coach bashing. Brendan will be my favourite Survivor over passing Cirie, ever if he convinces these people to vote off Coach. Erinn, well, isn’t what she promised before, and well, meh, we’ll see. I can’t wait to see this big Coach/Tyson vs. Sierra/Brendan battle next week, but knowing CBS, it’ll be so indescribable. Just the thought of Stephan, Debbie, and JT even wanting to believe Coach will immediately exclude them from any top 5 list I make.

So, on Day 16, this episode of Survivor started off with Taj wanting to tell Stephan that she wants to tell J.T. about the idol. Stephan isn’t sure they would benefit from that. Meanwhile, at the Timbira, Coach has “one of his moments” where he poorly cooked the beans in rainy water and from river water. Sierra was most frustrated with him, and is sure she’s fed up with him. In the reward challenge, the tribes had to build a barricade to avoid the other tribe from throwing pigs. Timbira and Jalapao both went back and forth taking the lead, and it was Timbira who won. It was Joe and Erinn who were exiled.

At the reward, Coach, Sierra, Tyson, Debra, and Brendan all enjoy a nice barbecue. Then, they all go for a swim by a waterfall. Meanwhile, back at Jalapao, Taj is busy making a fake idol that Joe could possibly play. Then, J.T. finds the hidden idol idea, the real one that Taj has. So, Stephen and Taj tell J.T. they found it, and the three of them agree to work together in the near future. Then, at exile, Erinn gets the clues with the hidden idol, and decided to spill them to Joe. In the immunity challenge the survivors had to release sand by sling shooting tiles, then release puzzle pieces and solve the puzzle. J.T. and Tyson did all the work for the sling shooting. It was Tyson who pulled off the challenge, and Brendan and Erinn aced at the puzzle, earning immunity for Timbira again.

J.T, Taj, Sydney, Joe, and Stephan are all upset they lost immunity again, and will go down two members. Sydney and Joe are tight, and they agree to vote off Taj. Then, Joe searches for the idol, and finds the fake idol. Then, J.T. is at first sure it’s Sydney’s time to go, but then he thinks of getting the idol to be split between him and Stephan. At tribal council, it was two votes for Taj and tow votes for Sydney. The fifth vote went to Sydney, and she was voted off.

This episode was OK, as this season is so far going down as an OK season, so far. What I would expect is to see either Cross-Tribal allies or the Timbira tribe dominating the rest of the game. However, I really don’t think people like Brendan and Erinn want to see Coach around. I would say Joe is the most screwed, considering he lost Sydney as an ally and is in the minority tribe. His best shot is to get Erinn on his side. As for The CTA (Cross Tribal Allies), it would be beneficial to start working out their options. Anyways, it looks like Brendan and Sierra are in the best situation, considering they could go either way.

I personally would like to see Erinn squeeze in somewhere, just because I want to see her get Coach out. Heck, if Debra blindsides Coach, I’d be happy. Taj is really impressive, and is emerging as one of the most remembered survivors. I really admire her game play, even though it’s took some weeks. However, I don’t get all of the Sierra love, though. I will give Stephan some credit, too, considering he’s Taj’s ally. J.T. loses respect for me, and I’m really not caring for his game play too much.

So, Survivor aired a “new episode” where they just air scenes that couldn’t fit in the first five episodes. This will be short, since it wasn’t a regular episode. So, here’s what happened. It all started with Timbira catching food without the use of fire. Debbie ate a small minnow-like fish, and Jerry found Brazilian fruit. Meanwhile, at Jalapao, J.T. and Stephen fail to make fire, but Sydney came to the rescue, and made fire.

Tyson is then obscenely seen parading around camp naked, and shaking his butt everywhere. Debbie found this amusing, which I found to be very creepy. Taj had a breakdown after not liking herself with a bunch of bug bites all over. Stephen makes her feel better. At Jalapao, the tribe, which was mostly Sydney and J.T. who helped build up the shelter. Timbira also fixed their shelter, holding a bench making contest between Brendan and Coach.

At Timbira, Sierra and Coach have a little conflict over Coach telling Sierra to cook the beans. Sierra explains it’s just Coach pumping her up, in order to tell her he expects more from her. Then, at Jalapao, J.T. and Stephen were playing some ball game. Back at Timbira, Coach makes some classical recitation with sounds of his mouth, in which Erinn called him the “biggest joke on the planet”. Erinn says she doesn’t like her tribe, and just wants to make the merge. I agree with Erinn. Lastly, Stephen and Brendan are seen “bonding” at exile island.

This recap was different, and I personally found some of it actually entertaining. It shows more of the “survival” and “cohabitation” part of the game, which we usually don’t see much. Not much of my opinions could change between the people, so here’s my still top 5 list: J.T. and Joe were basically the only change, simply because I don’t want J.T. to keep his controlling power.

This episode started off with the Jalapao tribe, where Taj claims the hidden immunity idol, and then gives it to her ally, Stephen, since he was les likely to even had the idol. Then, at Timbira, everyone else decides to go and get water, leaving Brendan and Sierra at camp. Sierra is upset with Brendan for not telling her about the alliance. So, Brendan gets the chance to fill her in, and Sierra talks about going from loser to member of powerful alliance.

In the reward challenge, one team member had to run and carry a rope, while a person on a platform had to spin around and then walk a balance beam. The first tribe to three would win. It was Sydney, Spencer, and J.T., who won for their Jalapao tribe. The tribe all won a café complete with pastries and drinks. However, Brendan and Stephen, both idol holders, were sent to exile island. During the reward, the Jalapao tribe members were rewarded with Family letters from home, which wasn’t really emotional this time.

Back at Exile Island, Brendan and Stephen talk more about their alliance, as they are discussing it for the first time. Meanwhile, at the Timbira tribe, Coach is babbling about the weather, saying the storm they suspect won’t come, but ironically, it did, and Erinn talks in her confessional about Coach being a jackass, and wouldn’t be surprised if he’s never actually left Nebraska. Meanwhile, the next day, at Jalapao, Sydney and Spencer are talking about relationships, and Spencer says he’s actually never told anyone in his tribe he was gay, and was afraid of what people like southern-charm J.T. would think.

In the next immunity challenge, the teams had to have two people fling balls in the air, and have one of the other tribe members catch them to score a point. The first tribe to five points would win. Spencer was in the challenge, but performed poorly, which made J.T. frustrated. J.T. worked to score four points for his tribe. But Timbira worked to score five points first, winning immunity. J.T. gets nothing but his missing tooth Jeff hands back to him after he lost it.

Back at Jalapao, Taj flips out on the boys, saying she’s fad up and doesn’t feel well. Taj is also worried about her lack of camp time effecting the chances of her staying. However, J.T. who seems to be calling the shot, wants to vote out Spencer. So, Spencer talks to J.T., and he says ‘it’s either you or Taj”. At tribal council, it was one vote for Spencer and one for Taj. The final four votes went to Spencer, and he was voted off. Eleven survivors are left, who will go next?

Personally, this was a fair episode. I didn’t like the over focus of the four-way, cross-tribal alliance. It’s basically eating the show up to the point where all you want to think about is “will they make it to the merge?” Personally, I don’t want these four ruling the game, unless they make Coach miserable by blindsiding him, like, next episode? However, this is completely new, considering, that tribal alliances are like, eight and a half years out of style. J.T. was arrogant this episode, and it’s actually made me think Erinn should be my favourite, as Erinn in funny, seems clever, and like me, Anti-Coach. I hope that she’s the one who takes Coach out, since she did after all, convince her tribe to gun for Jerry. I don’t think I’ve rooted for a female villain, and would love to see Erinn be the villain I root for. As for Spencer leaving, well, meh, I still wish he’d last, but hey, not all under 21’s, would turn out, maybe third times the charm? I didn’t care if Taj left, but that would upset the alliance, and I don’t know if that’s a good thing.

The episode starts off with the Timbira tribe members coming back from Tribal Council. Coach immediately says that Erinn would’ve gone, and says she’s very lucky to be around. The next day, Timbira are all together, and they talk about picking a leader, but still can’t decide between Brendan and Coach. Meanwhile, at Jalapao, Taj talks to Stephan about a cross-tribal alliance with them, Sierra, and Brennan. Stephen says he trusts her, so maybe we’ll see.

In the reward challenge, the tribe mates had to have three members carry bags on a pole in order to win. Taj, J.T., and Joe for Jalapao and Debbie, Brendan, and Tyson for Timbira volunteered. After Brendan, Tyson, J.T., Joe, and Debbie were eliminated, Taj won for her tribe. Their reward was a raid, allowing them to steal valuable items from the other tribe. The tribe sends Sierra to exile island, and Sierra sends Taj to go with her.

It’s the next day, and J.T, are at Timbira, and it seems they have taken Timbira’s beans and water container. At the Jalapao tribe, the Survivors talk about crazy Sandy, and Sydney emerges as the Tribe flirt, flirting with all of the younger guys, J.T., and Joe. Meanwhile, at Timbira, Tyson decides to goof off, making a joke of himself, walking around without pants, but he did have his junk covered this time. Erinn talks about how she doesn’t click with these people, saying it’s hard to deal with her bad breakup.

In the immunity challenge, teams had to run and collect puzzle pieces, and once they have all eight of them, put them on a table and twirl them around until they have solved the right phrase. Jalapao had a lead, until Sydney struggle with the knot untying. Finally, the teams were neck and neck solving the puzzle. However, it was Timbira who solved it first, and Timbira finally broke Jalapao’s winning streak, taking their first win since the first episode.

On Day 12, at the Jalapao tribe, it basically becomes a talk about whether to take out Sydney, who flirts her way through, or Sandy, the older lady. At tribal council, Sydney’s flirtatious moves become the talk of the night, and Sydney admits: “I even flirt with women” she says. At Tribal council, Sydney and Joe, surprisingly received one vote, with Joe receiving the vote from Taj. However, Sandy received five votes, and that was enough for Sandy to be voted off.

I believe this episode was fairly fine. It was decent, and didn’t make me completely upset at all. I really think that J.T. and Joe have the most strategic influence of Jalapao. This alliance of Taj, Sierra Stephen, and Brendan will probably end up crumbling, and I really hope Brendan realizes this was all a mistake, and soon ditches it. Survivor has never had the chance to make a cross-tribal alliance happen before a merge, and I don’t think it’ll happen the first time it’s ever attempted. I think Taj is putting a lot of seriousness into this alliance, and I think she’ll be screwed if it doesn’t work. I really hope Erinn pulls through, and does something drastic to her tribe, and gets Coach out. Coach wasn’t that arrogant this episode, but he’s still my least favourite, and I still want him out. I really like Sydney now, and want to see her flirt her way to the top anytime.

This survivor episode started with Candace’s closest ally Erinn left in the dust as an outcast. Coach talks trash about Erinn, saying Erinn “insulted” everyone that night. Then, it’s day seven, and Jerry is growing tired of camp life, feels weak, and claims to be sick. Meanwhile, at the Jalapao tribe, things seems more high-morale as everyone is fishing. The Jalapao tribe mates talk about hoping that they continue to win.

In the first reward challenge, teams had to select a person to be the leader (No, Coach didn’t dictate this) and lead their blindfolded tribe mates to collect a bucket and fill It with water, then fill it in another bucket, and do the same thing again but with Corn. Debra and Joe were the leaders. Joe and the Jalapao tribe mates worked together well enough to embarrassingly put Timbira into their position. The Jalapao tribe mates won furniture, tarp, and blankets, etc. Taj and Brendan were once again exiled.

Back at Timbira, Coach calls Tyson his new “assistant coach”, and those two have probably been guaranteed a bond for a while. We hear more about Jerry struggling to deal with being around camp. Meanwhile, back at Jalapao, the tribe continues to have more high morale as their like their winning streak. Meanwhile, Back at Exile Island, Taj and Brendan talk about getting a four person alliance moving along that nobody will know. They are sure about their next clue.

In the immunity challenge, teams have to roll over boxes and then stack them to spell their tribe name. Timbira actually took the lead, and almost had a hope in winning. However, Erinn emerged as the one controlling the challenge, and the tribe failed to listen to her orders, letting Jalapao catch up. Jalapao ended up wining immunity.

Back at Timbira, Jerry is still not feeling all too well again. Meanwhile, everyone is in the water talking about voting for Jerry. However, Coach is offended by Erinn grinning and he get’s so offended that he just has to get his way and vote for her. We do know that Brendon ends up finding the idol behind the tree mail box. The scene leaves us with Tyson talking about liking to see blindsides. So, at tribal council, there’s a little debate of whether Brendan is a better leader than Coach. However, it was a 6-1 vote that got Jerry booted. Thirteen people are left. Who will go next?

Personally, Coach needs to change to dictator, because just because someone liked Candace or grins that they’re safe, it doesn’t necessarily get offensive. Coach is playing the game way too hard and it’s going to bite him hardcore. His stupid sheep, Tyson, Sierra, and Debra are also not that good. Debra and Sierra are most obviously weaker than Erinn. Erin, I really like now, and would love to see her team up with Brendan and his idol and use it to blindside Coach. I think the viewers are waiting for Coach to get blindsided too. Personally, I’m rooting for Jalapao, and I hope they continue to kick but in these challenges. Sandy seems to have found herself in this episode, so far. However, I’m worried Taj is just going to blow things for herself. Who is Sydney? Overall, this was an OK episode, as it was nothing special. Jerry was probably a good boot because he wasn’t much use to the game. This season looks like could have potential if something interesting happens. J.T. looks like he’s in a good position, but since we haven’t seen much of that tribe in strategic action since day 3, I don’t know for sure. I still think Taj should watch it.

Recap: Termites, ready or not, here come the Survivors.
So, in the very beginning of the episode, Sandy talks about how relieved she is for staying in the game. Then, the next day, the Jalapao tribe mates get together, and while discussing how hungry they are, they result to eating termites. Meanwhile, at Timbira, Sierra tells Brendan that she knows about a hidden immunity idol at camp. So, Brendan and Sierra go and dig a huge whole until they are caught by Debra. They’re excuse: “We’re making a bon fire, for later!”. Then, Candace and Coach disagree with the way the food should be cooked. Candace admits she can’t stand Coach. Coach says he deserves to act this way because he’s a coach, and Candace is “just that way due to nature”. Back at Jalapao, Taj reveals she’s married to a professional football player, and J.T., says that’s enough of a reason to vote her off.

So, next is the immunity/reward challenge, where the survivors are playing for immunity and fishing gear. Also, Jeff Probst reveals that exile island is back with a brand new (revamped) twist! In the challenge, the survivors had to shoot a ball into a net while trying not to lose the ball getting tackled. The first tribe to three points would win. The challenge begins, and I believe, Candace scores for Timbira, and Timbira scores the second point by someone else. This put Jalapao behind. However, Jalapao caught up, and made a comeback, winning the challenge as they did score a third point. It was Brendan, then Taj who were exiled.

Back at Jalapao, the tribe mates all enjoy their new fishing gear. Sandy is once again relieved she’s not the next to go. Then, we see Stephen and J.T. who are bonding despite J.T. is a southern Alabama country boy and Stephen is the city kid. Meanwhile, at Exile Island, Taj and Brendan are together and there’s two urns: one with the clue and one without the clue. Brendan has the one with the clue, and he decided to share it with Taj, who ends up figuring out that there’s two idols, both a camp. Taj and Brendan agree to bond, and agree to reunite at Exile near in the future. Meanwhile, Candace talks to certain tribe mates about Coach not being too great of a tribe member, saying he wasn’t very active in the challenge. This is when Debra blabs her mouth and tells Coach. Coach immediately makes Candace a target.

The next day, Brendan returns to camp and lies to everyone, telling them Taj had the clue and didn’t help him. That’s when people begin targeting Coach and Candace for being the “cancer” of the tribe. Then, Sierra is being targeted for being the weak link all over again. At Tribal Council, it was Candace, my winner pick, who was voted off with seven votes. Only 14 remain, who will go next?

Who was the dumber players of the night?
Coach-Why should I call him coach? Survivor has many useless names that mean absolutely nothing to how the person really is (Dreamz, Boo, Sugar). He’s arrogant, and it’s the type of arrogance that means you’re just waiting for get a bad burning. It’s clear he’s trying to be the leader, and not a very good one, I must say.
Debra-Or should I say “Assistant Coach“? She seems like she’s riding Coach’s coattails, and that will lead her into deep danger if Coach is to be booted. I don’t see her being much help in the game at all either.

What I hope to see is Sierra, Erinn, Jerry, and Tyson take over and boot Coach. Do you think it’s possible? Candace was a very disappointing boot, and I don’t like to be disappointed this freaking early. Oh well, I guess I’ll have to pick a new favourite, and right now, I guess it’ll be J.T. I really think he’s going to last, and he’s getting a positive edit too, so, that’s a plus. Besides Benjamin/Coach and Debra, I really don’t think I have a problem with anyone.

The Recap of Episode One

So, during the episode of Survivor: Tocantins, it was literally first impressions mean everything. Sierra of Timbira, and Sandy of Jalapao were voted as the weakest. They didn’t make a four hour journey across the highlands in 110 degree weather, and were instead given a free ride to camp via helicopter. So, the other fourteen survivors all trek through the highlands. During the trek, Coach (Benjamin) immediately tells Brendan his strategy of booting the weakest. I honestly though he’d wait until they actually get to camp or merge before that strategy is enacted. Then, the two outcasts are given tree-mail. In tree mail, they are given an option: Impress your tribe mates, and build a shelter, or search for an idol. Sandy chose the idol, and Sierra chose the shelter. Sierra impressed her tribe, except for Coach, who immediately states she’s the weakest, and she’s his target. Sandy wanders off alone, and someone calls her antisocial. Meanwhile, Tyson is talking about being a Utah Mormon, and in the very next minute, he’s naked. A note to all Un-American: Nudity is blurred with a CBS blur machine there in the states. Then, the first Immunity challenge begins. Sandy led her team to a lead, but Erinn and some other guy led their team to a bigger comeback, and Timbira wins. Back an Jalapao, Carolina is yapping about something, which got everyone especially Taj calling her bossy. So, Carolina and Sandy both become bedmates to the chopping block. So, Tribal Council lurks, and Sandy is vulnerable, and it appears she hasn’t found any idol. However, the irony is, Carolina got seven votes, becoming the first booted from Tocantins.

Overall Opinions:
Well, that was not much of a twist, really, except it may jeopardize two people for a long time. Honestly, if I were voted the weakest tribe mate, I’d attempt to build a shelter, then come to the idol after the first night, if CBS left that obvious option open. I knew Sandy would be the weak one, and am not surprised about Sierra. I honestly thought that Sandy was digging her own grave each second she was on my television screen. Coach kind of made me mad, revealing his “game-changing” strategy, which I honestly think is not going to work, but still can be interesting. I was hoping that Sandy would find the idol, just to see the game change. The immunity challenge was pretty undeserving for a first challenge, considering we’ve already seen sand piles, stairs puzzles, and line mazes before. I kind of didn’t care who won the immunity challenge. I wish Candace was there, I hope she doesn’t turn boring or invisible. Then, I figured once they were talking about Carolina, it’d be her. I was right about my prediction of Carolina being an early boot, but I figured she’d be duller, though. The Jalapao tribe recognized Sandy for being strong, so we’ll see if they made the right decision. I really think it was not much of an impact. Currently, I have no clue who will my favourite will be. I kind of like Tyson, he reminds me of Season One’s Greg Buis.
