Nulth tribal council
In the first episode there wasn’t really a tribal council. Instead, the women got to vote whether they wanted to give the men fire. Six of the women voted “no”, only Deborah and Annelies voted “yes”.

First tribal council
The men lost immunity.

Danny = 4 (Keo, Mark, Olivier, Raymond)
Mark = 3 (Derek, Luc, Walter)
Luc = 1 (Danny)

Youngest person and weakest link Danny had to leave the island as the first man.

Second tribal council
The women lost immunity.

Meintje = 3 (Annelies, Kristina, Loes)
Kristina = 2 (Jakobien, Meintje)
Annelies = 1 (Nolleke)
Deborah = 1 (Lydia)
Lydia = 1 (Deborah)

The older Belgian woman and the older Dutch woman both made an alliance (Lydia & Deborah were left out of this) and voted for the strongest member of the other alliance. Unfortunatly, Nolleke kinda forget who her alliance decided to vote for and this lead to the elimination of the strongest woman, Meintje.

Switch & Third tribal council
All three of the older Belgian woman (Annelies, Kristina, Loes) went to the mens team and Mark, Walter and Raymond went to the womens team. The former men team, Mensirip, lost the immunity challenge.

Annelies = 4 (Olivier, Derek, Keo, Luc)
Derek = 2 (Annelies, Loes)
Olivier = 1 (Kristina)
The four men sticked together and voted out annoying Annelies.

Fourth tribal council
Uma lost the immunity challenge.

Walter = 5 (Raymond, Jakobien, Lydia, Deborah, Nolleke)
Nolleke = 1 (Mark)
Raymond = 1 (Walter)

The four women sticked together and voted out the popular and strong Walter, after he asked because he couldn’t stand living with the woman any longer (their camp was really filthy, they never made a shelter and never searched for food).

Fifth tribal council
Raymond quit the game, because he was also done with living with the woman and knew he would be voted out if their tribe lost immunity. The tribe did and there was a voting:

Mark = 4 (Jakobien, Lydia, Deborah, Nolleke)
Deborah = 1 (Mark)

Because of Raymonds departure, Mark didn’t have to leave but did take a “black vote” against with him to the next tribal council.

Sixth tribal council
The two teams merged together to Kador. Unfortunatly (or fortunatly because I thought he was an ass), Keo had to leave the game right before the immunity challenge because of medical reasons. Nevertheless, there was a voting where Loes was immune as she had won the immunity challenge:

Nolleke = 6 (Olivier, Derek, Luc, Loes, Kristina, Mark)
Mark = 5 (Jakobien, Lydia, Deborah, Nolleke, extra vote)

Mark joined former Mensirip and voted for über-annoying Nolleke (who was basically the most hated ER-participant until a few seasons later), but because Keo left already, Nolleke survived but took a “black vote” with her.

Seventh tribal council
This time Luc won the immunity.

Nolleke = 7 (Olivier, Derek, Luc, Loes, Kristina, Mark, extra vote)
Mark = 4 (Jakobien, Lydia, Deborah, Nolleke)

This time there was no saving for Nolleke. The audience was relieved because Nolleke finally left their screen.

Eigth tribal council
Immunity was won by Olivier.

Mark = 8 (Jakobien, Lydia, Deborah, Olivier, Derek, Luc, Loes, Kristina)
Derek = 1 (Mark)

Mathematic genius Mark approached the three women left of former Uma to make an alliance. The women could count and knew that even with Mark, they didn’t have a chance in the game (as former Mensirip had five people and with Mark, former Uma would only have four). The women told former Mensirip about Mark’s approasal and thereby saved themselve another round because former Mensirip voted out untrustworthy Mark.

Ninth tribal council
Olivier won immunity once again.

Jakobien = 6 (Lydia, Deborah, Loes, Kristina, Derek, Luc)
Deborah = 1 (Jakobien)
Lydia = 1 (Olivier)

Jakobien turned on her former team and tried to weasle her way into the former Mensirip team and because good friends with Olivier. The women of former Mensirip didn’t like this and got really jealous when Jakobien won the reward challenge and her family visited the island. The women convinced Derek & Luc to vote out Jakobien.

Tenth tribal council
Strangely enough, there was a twist that three people would be voted out in this episode, which means three tribal councils were held. Kristina won immunity and thereby made it to the final-4 immediatly.

First voting:
Lydia = 3 (Kristina, Luc, Olivier)
Deborah = 2 (Loes, Derek)
Luc = 2 (Lydia, Deborah)

The first of the “two girls on the beach” (a nickname Lydia & Deborah got because they were always together and lied on the beach most of the time, they became great friends during the show) got voted out. Lydia was the unlucky one because she was more annoying.

Second voting
Deborah = 5 (Loes, Kristina, Derek, Luc, Olivier)
Loes = 1 (Deborah)

The last member of former Uma, Deborah, leaves the island.

Third voting
Luc = 3 (Loes, Kristina, Olivier)
Loes = 2 (Derek, Luc)

Olivier joins with the women and together they vote out Luc. I have no idea why he did this as Luc was very loyal and the three men could have made the final three together.

Eleventh tribal council
Derek won immunity for this last round before the final.

Loes = 3 (Derek, Olivier, Kristina)
Kristina = 1 (Loes)

For some reason the women turn on each other. Maybe because neither wanted to win because their only chance was against each other. Anyway, the boys are lucky and Loes leaves this time.

Final
Two challenges were held during the final. Olivier won the first challenge, Derek won the second so Kristina had to leave the show right before the final.

The final voting is kinda confusing me as I found a source that states that the final result was 6-5, but that’s impossible because there were nine jurymembers and not eleven. The nine jurymembers voted as following:

Keo = Derek
Jakobien = Olivier
Loes = Olivier
Luc = Olivier
Lydia = Derek
Deborah = Derek
Mark = Derek
Kristina = Olivier
Nolleke = Derek

So bitchy and whiny Derek wins 5-4 over strong and silent Olivier. This was really shocking because Olivier was really popular and most people thought he would easily win. During the final they explained how Olivier could lose: they showed footings of the losers lodge (the place where the losers go to) and it was shown that Keo, the first jury members, constantly tried to convince the other eliminees that Olivier was a rat and didn’t deserve to win (but it was never shown/said why Keo hated Olivier so much). Because he managed to convince Deborah and Lydia, Olivier lost and Derek won the show.

First tribal council
Team Lima lost the immunity challenge.

Lobke = 4 (Martijn, Koenraad, Nathalie, Pieter)
Koenraad = 4 (Jasha, Gerrit, Lobke, Christine)

A draw was done to determine who had to leave and Lobke lost the draw. She got voted out because others couldn’t “connect” with her: she spoke in dialect nobody could understand and was one of the weaker people.

Second tribal council
Team Simbang lost the immunity challenge. But before the challenge, Hilde had already quit the game because she was homesick and wanted to go back to her children. Nevertheless, someone had to be voted out:

Eric = 6 (Pascale, Richard, Melanie, Gwann, Jennifer, Jan)
Gwann = 1 (Eric)

Oldest and weakest member Eric got the boot. This greatly upset Jan, who spend hours crying (even though he voted him out).

Third tribal council
Team Lima lost this time.

Koenraad = 5 (Christine, Jasha, Gerrit, Pieter, Nathalie)
Jasha = 2 (Marijn, Koenraad)

Socially weak Koenraad had to leave.

Fourth tribal council
Now it was Simbang’s turn to lose.

Gwann = 3 (Richard, Melanie, Jan)
Melanie = 2 (Gwann, Pascale)
Jan = 1 (Jennifer)

Richard joined Melanie & Jan to vote out the strongest member of the team. Richard started playing an individual game very early.

Fifth tribal council
Because Hilde left the game, the three previously eliminated candidates, Eric, Koenraad & Gwann, took part in an endurance challenge to determine who of the three returned in the game. Eric quit quite early, Gwann & Koenraad battled it out for a long time and at the end, it was Koenraad who won (as a child surgeon he is used to do long, exhausting and difficult things). He went to Simbang.

Without their strongest team member, Simbang didn’t stand a chance in the challenge and lost again.

Jan = 3 (Pascale, Richard, Jennifer)
Pascale = 2 (Jan, Melanie)

Koenraad didn’t take part in the voting (e.g. he couldn’t vote or be voted against). The emotionally and physically weak Jan had to leave.

Sixth tribal council
Lima lost the immunity challenge and lost two members. First Jasha, because she was emotionally very weak and quit the game. Secondly, because they had to vote someone out:

Christine = 3 (Pieter, Gerrit, Nathalie)
Nathalie = 2 (Christine, Martijn)

Weakest member Christine had to go.

Seventh tribal council
Both teams came together and Nathalie won individual immunity.

Martijn = 6 (Pascale, Richard, Melanie, Jennifer, Nathalie, Koenraad)
Koenraad = 2 (Pieter, Martijn)
Pieter = 1 (Gerrit)

Former Simbang stuck together and voted out strong-in-challenges-but-weak-around-camp Martijn, while former Lima turned on each other.

Eighth tribal council
Pascale wins individual immunity.

Nathalie = 6 (Pascale, Richard, Melanie, Jennifer, Koenraad, Pieter)
Pieter = 2 (Nathalie, Gerrit)

Simbang sticks together and is joined by Pieter. Together, they pick of the next person, Nathalie.

Ninth tribal council
Pieter wins individual immunity.

Gerrit = 4 (Pascale, Richard, Jennifer, Koenraad)
Jennifer = 2 (Melanie, Gerrit)
Richard = 1 (Pieter)

Melanie leaves the alliance because Gerrit convinces her it is not right to make alliances in this game. Gerrit is voted out.

Tenth tribal council
Jennifer left the game because of physical problems (she had to go to the hospital because her gastrointestinal tract wasn’t working properly anymore). There was a tribal council anyhow and Pascale wins individual immunity.

Koenraad = 2 (Pascale, Richard)
Melanie = 1 (Pieter)
Pieter = 1 (Koenraad)
Richard = 1 (Melanie)

However, in a twist Koenraad doesn’t have to leave because Jennifer already left. He does get a “black vote”: an extra vote against for the next tribal council.

Eleventh tribal council
Melanie wins individual immunity.

Koenraad = 5 (Pascale, Richard, Melanie, Pieter, Black vote)
Pieter = 1 (Koenraad)

Unfortunately, Koenraad’s third life ends here and he is voted out unanimously.

Twelfth tribal council
Pieter wins individual immunity.

Richard = 2 (Pieter, Melanie)
Melanie = 2 (Richard, Pascale)

Pieter joins Melanie and they vote out their strongest opponent. However, there was a tie, so a draw took place to determine who had to leave. The unlucky one was……. Melanie.

Final three
Pieter, Pascale and Richard take part in two challenges. Pascale wins the first one (endurance/balance), Richard wins the second one (survival). This means Pieter hasn’t won any of the challenges and has to leave.

Final two
Richard = 7 (Gerrit, Jennifer, Koenraad, Nathalie, Pieter, Melanie, Martijn)
Pascale = 0

The previously eliminated participants unanimously vote Richard as the winner of Expeditie Robinson 2001, because he was the father figure, the tactical leader and knew everything about survival, while Pascale rode his coattails.

First tribal council

Noord lost the challenge, these were the results of the voting:

Nele = 4 (Sander, Jan, Dennis, Harry)
Dennis = 3 (Karin, Eva, Nele)
Jan = 1 (Lisa)

Nele was voted out because she was bitten by a centipede and the others weren’t sure if she was strong enough to continue

Second tribal council
Noord last again.

Dennis = 5 (Karin, Eva, Lisa, Jan, Harry)
Eva = 1 (Sander)
Karin = 1 (Dennis)

Dennis was voted out because he couldn’t stop eating and ate everything on the island, but still didn’t have enough energy to take part in a challenge (later it was found out that this was due to a disease)

Third tribal council
Zuid finally lost.

Carine = 4 (Ron, Veronique, Melvin, Kris)
Veronique = 3 (Muriëlle, Sascha, Tommy)
Kris = 1 (Carine)

Carine was the weakest out there. She had a friendship with Veronique, but she kinda betrayed Carine by voting her out.

Fourth tribal council
Noord lost this time.

Harry = 5 (Karin, Eva, Lisa, Jan, Sander)
Jan = 1 (Harry)

Harry asked to be voted out because he felt too weak to continue.

Fifth tribal council
This time Zuid lost the challenge.

Ron = 3 (Muriëlle, Sascha, Kris)
Muriëlle = 1 (Ron)
Sascha = 1 (Melvin)
Tommy = 1 (Veronique)
Veronique = 1 (Tommy)

Ron was hard working, but socially not very strong, a group of friends voted him out because he made some harsh comments on women.

Sixth tribal council
Noord lost for the fourth time.

Lisa = 3 (Sander, Karin, Jan)
Jan = 1 (Lisa)
Sander = 1 (Eva)

Lisa didn’t seem to get along with the rest of her tribe all that well and spend a lot of time on her own.

Seventh tribal council
The two tribes merged, but there was no new name for the team (Just “merge” or “samenvoeging” in Dutch). Eva won individual immunity.

Jan = 5 (Karin, Tommy, Eva, Sander, Melvin)
Veronique = 4 (Kris, Jan, Muriëlle, Sascha)
Tommy = 1 (Veronique)

Jan was like the previous two: didn’t connect really with anyone and he was physically strong, so an ideal first boot.

Eighth tribal council
Sander won individual immunity.

Kris = 5 (Tommy, Melvin, Karin, Eva, Veronique)
Eva = 4 (Kris, Muriëlle, Sascha, Sander)

Two alliances formed with Tommy in the middle. Because everybody knew Tommy’s plan was to vote out the strongest, the alliance of Melvin, Karin, Eva & Veronique joined him in voting out Kris.

Ninth tribal council
Karin won individual immunity.

Muriëlle = 4 (Melvin, Karin, Eva, Veronique)
Veronique = 3 (Sascha, Muriëlle, Sander)
Melvin = 1 (Tommy)

The alliance held strong and voted out bitchy Muriëlle.

Tenth tribal council
Tommy won individual immunity.

Sander = 4 (Melvin, Karin, Eva, Veronique)
Veronique = 3 (Sascha, Sander, Tommy)

Tommy joined the defeated alliance and went after his nemesis, only to realize he was two tribal councils too late and happy Sander got the boot.

Eleventh tribal council
Karin won individual immunity.

Veronique = 3 (Sascha 1, Sascha 2, Tommy)
Sascha = 2 (Veronique, Melvin)
Tommy = 2 (Karin, Eva)

Sascha won double voting power in the reward challenge and for some reason Eva & Karin didn’t want to continue with the alliance of four, so they split their votes and Veronique got the boot.

Twelfth tribal council
Sascha won individual immunity.

Tommy = 3 (Melvin, Karin, Eva)
Eva = 2 (Sascha, Tommy)

Strongest person left, Tommy, got voted out.

Final four
Two challenges were held to decide who would make up the final two. Eva won the physical challenge and Karin won the social challenge. So Sascha & Melvin got the boot.

Final two
Karin = 5 (Kris, Muriëlle, Sascha, Veronique, Sander)
Eva = 3 (Jan, Tommy, Melvin)

The socially more strong Karin won the game, thanks to the help of the other alliance who saw Eva as being more bitchy.
