this post is about thursday and friday’s episode.

8 days to go and the Big Winner will be proclaimed!! how exciting and addicting on my part!! i would definitely miss PBB for i think their comeback on air will be TEEN EDITION 3, on which i hope, i would still have my call back to enter the house!(never lose hope! lol ).. but definitely, i know that season 4 will be possible because of the warm acceptance of the filipino people on PBB.

well, speaking about the latest happenings, theursday episode, as what i have said earlier on my post, the date of Melai and Roy on HOUSE B was discussed with subtitle for they have used a different language. (in our country, every region has its own dialect).

it was indeed, a very funny episode, of course, because of Melai. (She has really an undeniable sense of humor.)

talking about the date,  Roy talked to Melai, clearing everything that he could. another, a revelation was made by Melai when she said that Roy only broke up with her through cell phone. (how sad and BAD!) though they were laughing, it was noticed that they both felt the sadness on what happened about their relationship. Roy told Melai that he had already a new girlfriend, making Melai to broke down on tears..but wait,, its not because that she was hurt, but it was because of the happiness that she felt. She thought that it was a clear thing between them and that Roy had finally settled for peace.

Roy even said, “Si Jason na bahala sa iyo (Jason will now take care of you)” to Melai, which just showed that he was willing to entrust Melai’s heart to another person. Also afterwards, Melai told Big Brother the same deal in the confession room that she and Roy were indeed over. “Clear na, friends na lang kami (It’s all clear; we’re just friends now).”

after Melai had finally settled everything with Roy, Kuya (Big Brother) gave Jason a chance to personally meet Roy, whom he called, “Pareng Roy” (buddy Roy).

Bringing with him wine and finger food, Jason joined Roy at the table where Melai sat just minutes ago. He was also up front about what he wanted to say. “Ano pinag-usapan niyo ni Isay (What did you and Isay talk about)?” were the first words that tumbled out of his mouth. Roy followed through his directness by stating, “Kaya ako nagpunta dito para i-clear ang break-up namin ni Melai (The reason I came here was to clear the break-up).” Jason then asked why he and Melai broke up in the first place. Roy answered him with the old-age reason of not having enough time for Melai, but this time the reason can be said to be justifiable because Roy juggled a lot of jobs for being the padre de pamilya.(head of Family)

When all were said and done, Jason and Roy parted ways and gave each other souvenirs: Jason got Roy’s shiny studs(shown on the picture,Jayson showing it) while Roy received a couple of new shirts from the former. Big Brother couldn’t help but ask Jason about his generosity, to which the latter only shrugged off by saying, “Oo, ganyan talaga. Kung ano ang akin, bigay ko din sa mga kaibigan ko (That’s the way it goes. I share whatever’s mine to my friends).” Wow, just look at that. A relationship may have been over but another one just began.

well, fortunately, Roy had even a chance to talk to Kuya. He thanked him for allowing him to enter the BB house and clear everything on their relationship.(with Melai)

for friday’s episode, “THE WHITE ROOM” was discussed with the breath taking prize of a house and lot.

But before that, the third sacrifice and Big Harapan (Big Face to Face) was held. It was Tibo’s turn to did the sacrifice for Johan letting the latter to meet his father whom he had a not well relationship on the past.

Tibo’s sacrifice was to pluck his armpit’s hair one by one. (it really hurts!!) Unknown to Tibo, he was being watched by the other housemates on the TV plasma.

After the sacrifice, the Big Harapan took place and Milko(father of Johan) was able to talk to his son. (in HOUSE B)

Johan was called into the confession room and was told that Tibo was in it for him and his father Milko to have a reconciliation. Later on, he was fetched by his own father from the confession room into the House B where they could have a serious talk in a more quiet environment. But since he was blindfolded, he didn’t see all of those at first. So when his eyes got uncovered and he finally saw his father, he sobbed quietly – almost uncontrollably. Bad memories must have clouded over him and he got overwhelmed with the idea that it was the time that he would have to open and reach out to his father about them.

Milko started their conversation by asking how Johan was doing inside the house. Next up was that Johan voiced his longtime-held grudge against his father by stating how hurt he was when he saw his parents fighting a lot over financial problems when he was younger. “Iniisip ko nun eh parang gusto mo ng umalis, gusto mo na kaming iwan (I was thinking then that you wanted to go away, that you wanted to leave us already),” he explained through tears. Milko couldn’t help but defend his actions by saying that, “Ang hirap kasi noon at talagang ginawa ko na lahat (It was really difficult then and I already did everything),” pertaining to how he had gone to the lengths of doing so much just to hold his family together.

But Johan couldn’t help but ask his dad to promise about one thing: that those fights from when he was a kid are not going to happen again. This was what made Milko started crying too yet still managed to reply with a “yes” and a hug to his son. This represented that the father and son were already in good terms with each other.

“THE WHITE ROOM was also revealed making JOHAN AND JASON the two players for the new House and lot. The resident psychologist of PBB had an interview that the white room will definitely test the housemates’ real emotions and feelings that they kept within them selves. as what i remember, it was a “Selective Sensory Deprivation” test?..i can’t remember exactly.

Big Brother allotted a whole day to the housemates to come up with the decision of picking two housemates that were going to fight for the house and lot prize at stake. While it couldn’t be denied that each one of them were enticed with the idea of having their own home – especially after seeing the beautiful miniature of the actual house and lot displayed on the living room, several of the housemates acted unsurprisingly selfless about it.

For instance, Paul Jake and Melai were the first ones to remove their mini dolls of themselves from the on-set display, signifying that they were giving up their slots from the fight for the special prize. After a while, Mariel also removed hers, saying that what she really wanted was to be part of the Big Five. “Hindi ko kase ineexpect ‘to kaya mas mabuti na lang na ibigay ko sa iba (I didn’t expect this anyway, so it would be better if I give it to the others),” she said. So the choices were down to Jason, Johan and Tibo. But by late afternoon these were narrowed into just Jason and Johan because Tibo thought the two needed the house more than he does.

The challenge in exchange for the special prize was not at all easy to undergo. Jason and Johan were fetched by white ninjas at the middle of dawn and were sent to a special white-covered small room where their battle for the house and lot will commence. Not only were their sensory organs shall be put the test but also their psychology and inner peace because for the whole duration of this task, they weren’t going to be allowed to talk or to sleep. If any one of them decided to give up, Big Brother provided a red button to push and let them out of the room.

i’m back! after my terrifying midterm exams!

well, i am just going to have a review on the past few days, (sunday to wednesday episodes, day 120-122 respectively) on PBB Double up!.

i’ll just summarize it all for i have lost my written facts about the past few days and i could only write what i can remember so well. with the help of http://doubleup.pinoybigbrother.com

FINAL NOMINATION NIGHT! (FACE TO FACE NOMINATION WITH A TWIST)

Nominations pushed through in the usual way last night, with each housemate picking two others for eviction. Little did they know that tonight was the last nomination night, and with that came another task. All looking pure in head-to-toe white outfits, the housemates were faced with a mysterious board cloaked in black. On Kuya’s signal, the cloth was lifted, revealing a board with several tags of eviction statements. From the sedate “Adios” to the harsh “Get Lost”, the housemates were asked to get two and tag the housemates whom they nominated earlier. No changes could be made, and with explanations necessary, each had to face their co-housemate and be held accountable for their choices.

Melai, who was exempt from nominations having won a slot in the finals, was first to be called by Kuya. With utmost candor, she tagged Paul Jake with “Get Lost”, with the reason that he was arrogant and did not need the prize money anymore. Tibo got “Paalam na” for being pretentious in his humility.

Paul Jake stated a general apology for having to tag the others, but some things simply had to be done. He stuck “Laos” on Mariel, as he felt she had been untrue to herself and was playing safe recently. “Sibat na” was for Johan, being a strong contender.

Jason could not hide his uneasiness at the task, especially with specific personal reasons behind his choices. He tagged Tibo with an “Asa pa” tag. As Melisa’s coach, Jason took offense at the latter’s statement that he was giving Melisa the spot for the Big 4 already, believing that Melisa earned it for herself. Jason also tagged Paul Jake, but cleared that it was not for being rich; he believed they all had an equal right to win. His “Adios” tag, then, was for some comments and actions that hurt him.

Tibo took his 4 tags in stride, and tagged in the same manner. Jason got an “Uwi na” tag from him for remaining lazy after four months inside Kuya’s house. Paul Jake’s “Exit na” tag was, unsurprisingly, for missing his girlfriend and being well-off already.

Johan was quite harsh in explaining his choices, becoming brutally frank in his reasoning. “Labas na” was for Tibo. “Madiskarte ka, pero ayoko ang diskarte mo,” said Johan. In a similar tone, he stuck Paul Jake with “Go away”. He reasoned, “Habang pinapatunayan mo ang sarili mo, pinapatunayan mong karapat-dapat kang umalis ng bahay.”

The last in line, Mariel approached the board with nervous laughter. She tried to keep the situation light by smiling at Paul Jake as she stuck his fifth eviction of the night. “Pahawa ka” was for him not needing the prize as much as the others. She stuck “Tanggal ka” on Tibo, his fourth eviction, for his statement about Jason and her conflict with him in conversations.

Up until this moment, they were still under the impression that the Char-Char Change prevailed. They were made to believe that the eviction of Cathy and those who followed were results of their own votes. Tonight, Kuya revealed that such was not the case. As always, evictions were based on viewers’ votes and not anyone else’s.

Likewise, their nominations this week were also “char”, a farce. Their votes did not count for anything; no one was nominated according to the housemates’ choices. Rather, everyone (with the exception of Melisa) was up for eviction. Kuya announced that they were vying for the last 3 slots, withholding the addition of a fifth big placer and allowing them to believe that 2 more housemates will say their goodbyes within the week.

From now until the Big Night, votes will be accumulated and will determine the ranking of the remaining housemates.

WEEK 18 starts Day 120 -122

well, for this final two weeks, Big Brother prepared a lot of surprises and twists that even the public is unprepared of it. (of course, lol!)

..for monday episode, as what i remember, a dog entered the house(secondly this time after the pet of former housemate Sam.). it was named, i can’t remember but it was beautiful dog, regardless of its breed, it was for melai to conquer her fear on dogs.

after the day, she finally conquered it with the help of her fellow housemates. another, it was a surprise thing for me, that all the housemates work and cleaned the whole house noticing that everything is on SIX. like chairs and plates, making them to realize that it was a though months that have passed and they were the lucky six who passed it. Another twist, was the BIG HARAPAN! (BIG FACE TO FACE). three housemates will do a sacrifice for their three fellow housemates to fix the things they were not able to do so before entering the PBB. first was for Mariel, whom Paul Jake did his Sacrifice. It was a hard task, that involves endurance and temper. He had dressed like Mariel and for every situation that Big Brother will tell, Mariel must react on which Paul jake should imitates in order to passed the task.

after imitating, Big Brother will make him freeze for about 30 minutes with such positions that really hurts! there were 10 situations. (wow!)

fortunately, Paul jake was able to did the sacrifice successfully, giving Mariel the chance to talk with her partner(the father of her son). It was an unfinished business for her and she was shocked because it was unknown to her. (just like everyone, the recipients of the consequences had no idea about the sacrifices.)

Because of this, in house B(Tuesday episode) Mariel was able to talk with his partner. it was a dramatic encounter were both have no idea if they can fix it. well, the ending, i think, it was better than before.

another revelation for the day was the real intention of Jayson for Melai. Yes! He admitted to Big Brother that Melai is important for him and he loves her!

Big Brother offered a deal with Jayson that if he did a sacrifice, Melai will have a chance to talk with his ex boyfriend (because it was an unclosed story between them). Melai cannot move on because she holds back with her past. as a sacrifice, Jayson must walk around the swimming pool area, on about 1053 minutes, (the miles where Melai lives, GenSan City) or 17 hours without rest. (but because of the sudden dizziness that jayson felt, BB let him to rest for at least 30 minutes every six hours.)

this was a secret for Melai, although, Melai had an idea that the sacrifice/task was for her. (How assuming! lol!! But sweet!)

Jayson was able to did it and then, for today’s episode, a live wednesday night(1st time for the season 3,7th edition) Melai had her Big Face to Face with her ex boyfriend. She was told by Big Brother about the sacrifice, and she was shocked for what she had not expected that it was a face to face with Roy. Live at HOUSE B, she was brought by Jayson then welcomed by Roy, (her ex)  with a pedicab ride and a burger(Melai’s favorite).

before Roy entered the house, he was interviewed by  Toni(host) about his feelings towards Melai. he said that he stills loves her though the feeling slowly disappearing day by day. he also revealed that his relationship with Melai was three years and two months.(too exact!). Unknown to Melai and Roy, they were being watched by Jayson. the whole story will be discussed tomorrow for the reason that they talked in a different language, resulting in the demand for a translator.(remember, it was live!)

..another surprise was told and Big Brother will give a Brand new HOUSE AND LOT for a special task. it was called, “THE WHITE ROOM” on which, two housemates will compete psychologically then the winner will have the prize. the details were not yet discussed but it keeps me more addictive to PBB even on its last two weeks!. too exciting!!!

i dont know if “THE WHITE ROOM” was also based on other big brother’s edition all over the world, because it was my first time to hear about it. so if you have any ideas, please tell me so. thanks for that!

before i end this, i’ve just read a trivia (from their site) about PBB’s Big Nights, and a lot more. i’ ll repost it here for better. lol.

All are holding their breath in anticipation of the Big Night. To keep you from getting antsy, here are 10 trivia tidbits to feed your curiosity. Tidbit # 10: The second batch of housemates also started the PBB season along with the first batch. While the first batch of housemates were entering the popular PBB house, the second batch were marooned in Kuya’s secret location.

Tidbit #9: Like the first batch of housemates, those in the secret place also had zero television, telephone, and contact with anyone from the outside world. They only had 30 minutes to sneak a peek at the outside world, and only when they had a PBB staff member watching over them.

Tidbit #8: Tibo, being an agent, showed his special skills even when he was held in isolation. He had no idea what time it was, but could predict when a particular vehicle from the overlooking subdivision would appear. Talk about sharp observation skills!

Tidbit #7: Melisa absolutely detests anything cheese-flavored! Luckily, her interviewers were only too happy to eat her share of the cheesy treats.

Tidbit #6: With the surprise entry of Typhoon Ondoy, it didn’t spare the housemates from its wrath. Several housemates were stranded in traffic and flood waters. It was a wonder that the PBB Double Up lauch pushed through at all!

Tidbit #5: Sun Tzu’s “The Art of War” made for an interesting read this season. Paul Jake actually had a head start already. Since he was reading it even before entering Kuya’s house.

Tidbit #4: Tom’s female impersonation for Rob was not his first. He tested his girly side with the PBB staff earlier by wearing a long wig and dark shades. No luck on both counts, though. < p> Tidbit #3: During the photo shoot, Jason ran out of moolah and borrowed P50.00 from a staff member. His debtor actually forgot about the pending debt, but Jason didn’t. Honest Jason paid his debt 5 days before entering Kuya’s house.

Tidbit #2: In the final casting week, Mariel confidently breezed through the process. Little did she know that everyone in the room –except her, of course– was actually part of the PBB staff.

Tidbit #1: Kath and Jimson, real-life hubby and wife, originally auditioned in 2007. At that time, they were only bound by civil rites. They had a church wedding held in the Philippines afterwards, where the guest list included PBB staff members.

FEBRUARY 13 is the Big NIGHT!!

well, before anything else, i would like to say that i would be absent for posting posts for day 119 – 121 i think, for i will have my midterm exams. i’ll be back on posting on friday night.

talking about tonight’s episode,  it was all about the live eviction and Kuya’s darlings’ exit. and a big twist that will be on the history of PBB.

first, lets talk about the Kuya’s Darling. (Big Brother’s House Players)

for their last and final task, they have to find then hide all the important things of the housemates in a span of three hours.  when the count down started, the house players did not hesitate to do their task. they hide all the necessary things and sentimental gifts they found on the bedrooms of the housemates. after an hour, they’ve finished it, resulting to the puzzlement of the housemates. after the day, the housemates were talking in the garden, discussing about the missing of their important things. Mariel theorized that those three ex housemates were the reasons behind the incident.

Because they were able to pass their final task, Kuya asked them to tell the other housemates about the truth on their stay on the BB house. but Kuya aslo instructed them not to be mean on revealing the truth. so they decided to put it on a play. First, Rica made up the story of her going out via a voluntary exit because she didn’t want to miss the upcoming birthday celebration of her boyfriend. This kind of worked but what triggered the downfall of their playing pretend was when Princess and Yuri hooked up in a big fight scene by the swimming pool in front of the other housemates, wherein the former pushed the latter into the cold water. This stunned the housemates but at the same time made them ponder on the authenticity of the actions made by the three. “Lalabas na nga si Rica eh, bakit pa sila gagawa ng eksenang ganyan? (Rica’s going out already, why did they need to make that whole scene up?)” Paul Jake pointed out. Hence, the admission.

To sum things up, Big Brother gave the Kuya’s Darlings a two-thumbs up for a “job well done.” Oh, yes, the three aced the very hard-to-do tasks he gave them. They helped in revealing more of the housemates’ truest emotions and characters. This reflected when Big Brother also talked to them in a separate meeting, wherein Melai spoke in behalf of the group by expressing how much she had learned from all the challenges they underwent. “It’s the matter of how I take it. Lahat naman tayo nadadapa, nasa pagbangon at paglaban na lang yan (It’s the matter of how I take it. All of us stumble, we just have to stand again and fight),” she reiterated.

as a prize, aside from the money from the Resback Attack Team and twist, they also received an additional of 30,000 pesos and one laptop each. it was awarded on their exit and the public warmly welcomed them as they cheered for their names.

this picture shows how people loved the Kuya’s Darling for a job well done!.

well..aside from it, what is exciting about tonight’s episode is the announcement of the Big Twist and the latest evictee from the nominees’ list (Paul Jake, Johan, Kath, Jayson, Melai)

as what the housemates know, Char Char change is still in and housemates believed that they will still choose the evictee. as toni (the host) announces the saved housemates from evictions, she announced Paul Jake to be the first one.secondly was Jayson, (making me a bit comfortable for he is one of my bet.) thirdly was Melai (that made me to shout for JOY!!She’s my bet for the win!). and because Melai is saved, she is now part of the Big 4. Lastly was Johan leaving Mommy Kath to be the latest evictee.

Kath, who came from an initially rocky marriage, entered the house with the given secret task of pretending to be another house mate’s (Patrick) wife instead of his own real husband’s (Jimson). This was to help her move on and apply what she had experienced from it and somehow show it to her husband. During that task, she managed to show the capacity of being able to complete the task even with the prejudgment of her being weak and too emotional.

But as her stay stretched longer inside the house, Mommy Kath appeared to improve the strength of her inner person. She had learned to catch and stop her self whenever she’s about to get too teary-eyed. Her effort in reaching out to the other housemates, like talking to German special guest housemate Annina with her best grasp of the English language, gradually became noticeable. As she said in her message right after being evicted, it was true that her stay inside the house has helped her become a stronger person.

as you can see, least save votes was Kath and 2nd to the greatest evict votes was her too. for me, i was expecting it, but i truly hoped that it will be Johan.

as you can see..if the votes were for real, Paul Jake was evicted, but again, it was all part of Kuya’s Test of characters.

the big twist that was revealed in about the big night. it was formally announced that in the Chinese New Year and Valentines Day, the big winner will be hailed. On february 13, public will declare the latest BIG WINNER. it was entitled BIG DATE AT THE BIG NIGHT!

the finals will be held on NINOY AQUINO STADIUM.

the twist is, it is no more BIG 4! Now its BIG 5!!

yes! traditionally, PBB only let the final 4 (dubbed as the Big 4) to have the chance to be a Big Winner and will be brought at the big night. but since this was the longest season ever of PBB, Big Brother decided to make it BIG 5. Who will join Melai(since she won on the BIG JUMP TO THE BIG NIGHT) on the list? and who will be this season’s BIG WINNER!!

as the exciting happenings on PBB continues, i can’t help my self but to feel so terribly happy and nervous for the big Night!.

this post is about the day 115 – 117 of PBB.

Day 115

the first task of the houseplayers was revealed and it was Rica to the first one to do the honor. the task is to make paul jake cry (as a result of poll voting on PBB UBER). well, her tactics were quite not obvious but still she was not able to manage it well. she talked to paul jake about serious and sad moments (regarding their love ones, for paul jake, her Girlfriend). when she was about at the peak of her success, and PJ was about to cry, Melai destructed it. (of course, she has no idea of her Bestfriend’s task). while part of the “no talk and interaction” task of the two groups, Big Brother gave the housemates a free 5 minutes everyday to talk and to interact.(i think this happened three times a day, in aid for the three House players.)

because of this opportunity, the house players were able to discuss their plan and to ask advises from each other on how to do the task. but unfortunately, Mariel got a feeling about them. for every 5 minute interaction, the three houseplayers were always talking secretly that caught her attention.  the funny side of the episode was of course, because of the tandem MELASON!! (Melai and Jason).

Jason studied spanish words and songs through her mentor, mommy Kath. the words he learned are about his feelings toward Melai on which he was able to deliver it at the bedroom when they were all present. Big Brother joined the fun as he played with the housemates. (its funny when you know Big Brother is playing with you!!lol)

in addition, Team Paul jake won the chance to fight for the Big Jump to the Big Night.

Day 116

the second task for the house players was revealed. this time,it was for Princess. and guess what, her task was about to ask and make friend with Mariel!! Yes!! Mariel was her enemy in the house during the Resback Attack peak.

funny as it may seem, but it was the decision of the public!. lol. remeber, they have a big encounter during the said attack!

but i think, she was able to accomplish this task though Big Brother have not yet announced it.

talking about the losing team(for the Big Jump), each member of them must chose one housemate from the winning team(team Paul jake) to train for the next battle.

the semi finals of the Big Jump to the Big night was a bit controversy for the housemates. their battle was about telling the truth and guessing the truth! lol

this was how the game was done. each round, Big Brother will ask the housemates who among themselves said the hot comments toward the other housemates. like “who said that Mariel is a fake?” or, “who said that Melai is not a good listener”. if the housemate is correct, he will remain on his place, while if not, he will have a one step backward. if that housemate is the answer and he was not able to tell the truth, then he have to step backward twice.

the top three housemate were revealed,(winning the game) whom will compete for the final round. It was Meali, Tibo and Paul jake. (one girl VS. Boys).

Paul jake placed as the top player, he placed at no. 9, while melai and tibo were tied at place no. 8

the third task for the houseplayer was told to Yuri, gaining her first chance to do a task. Her task was a bit too hot. she must invite Johan to a bath at the Jacuzzi. (the public chose Johan) their talk was a bit sexy that i think, PBB staf was able to cut all the hot talks. lol.. many kids watch the show that’s why they did it.

well, honestly, i have no interest for them or for their task. it was about sex and what part of a girl johan likes and how do they like to be kissed?.. whatever.. lol

day 117 (the Big Jumper to the Big Night!)

well, this episode is the best episode they showed for Melai! the final battle for the biggest twist this season was held. it was an endurance game.

The three contenders for the Big 4 slot bravely faced Kuya’s endurance challenge: to stand atop a small platform in the middle of the pool for an undefined number of hours. No excuses were accepted to leave their roost. The three had to grit their teeth and hold against the call of nature, even if it was to relieve or feed themselves.

They had various strategies for keeping their post. Melai distracted herself with singing, Tibo chose minimal movement, Paul Jake massaged his frozen joints. All three tried stretching their limbs by crouching, taking care not to let other body parts touch the platform, aside from their feet. They kept warm from the sharp nip of the air by layering clothing and blankets. Nine hours after, all three were still standing strong.

The remaining housemates kept vigil over them, camping by the poolside. They kept the stories flowing and regaled their friends with jokes. Jason led the rest in an ongoing serenade. They cheered the three on and kept them going. For what or for whom did they endure such sacrifice? Paul Jake and Melai did it for themselves, their family and those who believed in them. Tibo thought nothing of himself, but offered the moment for his family.

A few minutes past the ninth hour and Kuya decided to push the housemates harder: only one leg was allowed on top of the platform! Though shifting legs was allowed, they had to focus on keeping their balance along with dealing with fatigue and natural factors.Big Brother also played a series of audio recording of their love ones.

After a few moments, Kuya granted them a minute of rest, after which his instructions got even harder. Only the best leg could be used, with no shifting allowed.

Paul Jake could feel his strength waning, and apologized minutes before he plopped into the water.

after Paul Jake was eliminated, Tibo and Melai remained strong and Big Brother pushes the game harder. after after 10 hours, Big Brother said that they should use their best leg with no shifting. as a destruction, Big Brother played a lullaby for them. But they were not destructed. it was about 12 hours after, Big Brother put another twist, that is to raise their both hands straight and must maintain the one leg standing. after two hours i think, Tibo surrender, making Melai the Big Jumper to the Big Night!. She broke down into tears as well as the other housemates. (me too!)

Melai stand on the pedestal as she is the very first housemate to be in the Big 4 automatically!. but! wait! Big Brother announced that she is still nominated for eviction this saturday, making tibo to take her place if she will be evicted. But if she will stay after tomorrow’s eviction, then she is the first housemate for the BIG 4!!

tomorrow, Toni announced that a Big Twist will occur making the housemates and public go terribly shocked!! what is it?.. my goodness!!

aside from tomorrow’s eviction, the twist will be announced.(i hope so).

sooooo excited!!

19 days to go before the Big Night!

this post is about tonight’s episode. and speaking of the episode, it was all about the continuation of the KIMERALD’s visit (Kim and Gerald Love team, former housemates, Big Winner and 3rd Big Placer respectively) and the 2nd BIG JUMP TO THE BIG NIGHT BATTLE.

KIMERALD on the confession room of Big Brother!

Cliche as it may be, but it seemed just yesterday that Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson were only housemates from the Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition themselves. But today, just look how far they’ve gone – from being the Amboy of Gensan and the Chinese Cutie from Cebu, they have become two of the most-sought and looked-up actors in the local entertainment industry! And that was exactly what Big Brother proudly pointed out to them when finally – after four to five years – they got back inside the Big Brother house! “Proud ako sa inyo na dala-dala niyo pa rin ang natutunan niyo mula sa pagstay niyo dito sa bahay ko noon (I’m proud that you still have with yout the lessons you’ve learned from your stay inside my house),” Big Brother told them. This naturally made the two well up with tears and replied they couldn’t have been anymore grateful to Big Brother for letting them stay inside the house back then. “Kung ‘di po dahil sa inyo, hindi po namin maaabot ‘tong namin ngayon (If it weren’t for you, we couldn’t have achieved what we have now),” Kim said sincerely.it was really a nice thing to think of that former housemates have already made themselves very popular indeed whether they won or not. and all of them are never forget Big Brother!

Meanwhile, the members of Team Paul Jake also learned a lot of things from their special meeting with the Kimerald love team since the two also shared a couple of their experiences with them. Later on, Tibo and Paul Jake both said that the words of encouragement left to them by the two were a big motivation for them to go on with their fight inside the house. “Nakakagaan ng loob yung sinasabi nilang wag kayong gigive-up (Hearing them tell us not to ever give up was uplifting),” Tibo added.

the KIMERALD’s visit to the house made Jayson too excited. Because of the rule of not interacting with the other team, Jason and the rest of the members of Team Johan stayed inside the house while Team Paul Jake busily entertained their guests Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson by the garden area. However, the former team couldn’t help but take peeks on what was going on outside. So what Jason did was to be the prime mover in doing something about their helpless starstruck state! First, he opened the glass door so he could have an unobstructed view of Kim and Gerald.

Then he took a further step by throwing out a big plastic bag containing trash, intentionally walking by where the two special visitors sat.(lol!, He’s really funny!!) The housemates, the two visitors and even Big Brother couldn’t help but notice Jason’s attention-seeking! Thus, Jason was given the privilege to pretend to wipe the glass doors and windows (in which he sprayed liquid cleanser to wooden things in between) and mopping the floor in an ungodly hour just so he would be able to see and be near Kim.

the kimerald had also the chance to take a tour throughout the BB House with the housemates.

another remarkable happening for today was the battle for the Big Jump to the Big Night.

the battle was about memory power again with a sort of obstacles. each member of the group must chose one of the folded black cards with corresponding cell phone numbers and they must memorize it. (in philippines, mobile numbers have 11 digits.so imagine,for just a matter of 15 – 20 seconds,they must memorize it). after memorizing, they must pass the obstacles with their opponents awaiting on them and destructing them while passing the obstacle. the opposing team can uses anything that can provide loud noise. Team Johan put cooton on their ears to minimize the noise but still, Team Paul Jake managed to win! with a score of 3-2 in favor of Team Paul jake, for the 2nd time around, their team won. (it was the points made by rica, melai and Mariel).

through this winning, Kuya (Big Brother) announced that the battle for the spot for Big 4 is only a “best of 3 games”. making team Paul Jake to lead and Team Johan to a “do or die” game. in addition, if tomorrow’s game will be Team Johan’s 1st victory, Big Brother will grant a reward for one of the member of the team, and that is to give him/her a chance to compete for the individual tasks for the latest twist. But, if Team Paul Jake make it a 3 straight win, only his team is eligible for the individual competition for Big Jump to the Big Night, and will take the pedestal in the garden!.

this review is about the day 112-113 of PBB.

because of the so much twists and happenings inside the house, i will try my best to summarize it. especially now, that 20 days after, Big Night will happen.

first of all, i am going to talk about the latest nominees. (i thought that there would no more nomination because they were only 7 but Kuya(Big Brother) is really unpredictable.

for this week, the last HOH battle was held and making Tibo as the latest and last HOH.the process or battle of the housemates for the HOH title was a battle to win the heart of each housemate. for this battle, the housemates, themselves were the one eligible for choosing the last HOH. Melai and Tibo got tied and was break by the ex housemates. because he is the last HOH, the power to give an automatic nomination is vested on him too. and as a result, he chose Jayson to be up for the eviction.

while joining Jayson on the list are Melai, Kath, Johan and Paul Jake. in short, only Mariel and Tibo was immune for eviction.

well, eventually, their reasons for nominations was still the same except for the fact that Melisa and Paul Jake got the highest points (which is rare to happen).

the entrance of the Kuya’s Darling was also noted for yesterday’s episode.

the housemates believed that Rica, Princess and Yuri are all returning to the house as housemates again. some were disappointed except for Melai and Jayson for the reason that they were close to the three ex housemates. the three eggs that they bought inside the house was a message for the housemates. (actually, this was really intended for the housemates to believed the scheme.) the message on the eggs was “WE ARE RETUNING AS HOUSEMATES”. this was a shocking news indeed for the housemates for they thought that it will be only 3 weeks before the big night.

when day 113 came, a big pedestal was seen by the housemates on the garden. (by the way, there were awaken by Kuya through the playback of the announcements of the 6 editions Big Winners).

this pedestal include the big twist that Kuya had prepared for them. It is the BIG JUMP TO THE BIG NIGHT.

this twist means that housemates would undergo several competitions and tasks that if they will be able to win, they can assure of a place on the Big 4. meaning he or she is guaranteed not only of his/her place on Big 4 but also the assurance of coming to the Big Night. at the end of the week, the winner will be announce s the very first member of the Big 4.

the game includes dividing the housemates into two groups, on which they had to compete first by teams. then the winning team’s members will compete to each other to win the twist.

Rica is also part of this team pretending that she would also compete for the said twist. while Paul jake stands as the leader of this group.

on the other hand, this team is leaded by Johan(from left), followed by jason and Kath. Yuri and Princess is part of this team.

in accordance with the tasks and competition, each group is not allowed to talk or to interact to each other. Even the Big Brother house was divided for them not to come contact to each other.

the 1st game was a task that has something to do with “memory power”. lol

each team was instructed to place the pictures of their tasks consecutively according to what they done first up to the last. Through the help of Melai, Paul Jake’s team was able to win the 1st game.

their prize for the 1st game was an encounter with TEEN EDITION 1 Big Winner and 3rd Big placer, Kim Chui and Gerald Anderson. this encounter is a big opportunity (for filipinos) to meet the hottest teen stars of today. Kim and gerald in our country is now the hottest love team on primetime and they have a lot of followers.(even me!) this was really a funny encounter with the housemates (especially Melai). Melai was given a privilege  to act with Gerald and have those famous lines from the love team’s past soap opera.  this encounter was not yet finished and tomorrow, it will be continued. by the way, the loosing team was not able to talk to the great HouseGuests!

as what the preview showed, Kim and Gerald had a talk with Big Brother that made Gerald shed a bucket of tears. (it’s too touching, he remembered the time when he was only a simple teen who entered the Big Brother House).

for the 1st task of the House players, the public was asked. “who among the housemates do you want to cry?” and the Text Poll’s result was Paul Jake. now the job of the 3 house players will start. will they be able to win the task?. if they would, 15,000 thousand pesos in in stake for them.

21 days to go..before the Big Night.

first of all, i would like to give thanks and to mention Dan, for giving me facts about the House Player Twist,(which i will further discuss on this post).

for this live eviction night, 3 exits were done and welcomed by the public. First for Cathy, secondly, for the ex housemates, and lastly, for the latest evictee.

speaking of cathy, another first in the history of PBB happened. When she took her exit, and was welcomed by the public outside, her very dedicated and die hard fans got a surprise for her. There were confetti and fireworks displayed all courtesy of her fans. She was surprised (and also Me! i didn’t expect that she will have that for what i know, public hates her). Second exit was for the male ex housemates who took the tasks and bid their farewell to Big Brother. Outside, their cash prizes were given courtesy of the eggs and games that they won over the housemates. a total of 150,000 thousand pesos was given. It was originally deducted from the prizes of Big 4.

aside from the eviction, public also waited for the result and comments of the ex housemates for the interrogation that happened yesterday.

As if the ongoing resbak attacks weren’t enough challenges, Big Brother formed the ex-housemates into a special jury where they were given the opportunity to interrogate the housemates. The all-black jury members appeared serious as they sat in two rows facing the seat where the interrogated housemate would be.

The highlight of this encounter was of Kath’s, Tibo’s, Hermes’s and Johan’s. Bombed with provoking questions, Kath braved the grim expressions on the faces of the jury members. When Patrick asked her what she felt about the attacks they made upon her and her fellow housemates, she firmly said, “Dahil sa mga ginawa niyo, naging mas strong ako (With all that you did, I became stronger).” However, the verdict of the jury was that Kath seldom shows her true emotions inside the Big Brother House which made it difficult to come up with an accurate assessment of her.

Meanwhile, Tibo was grilled about his being the most know-it-all among the housemates. While fighting back tears, he defended himself saying he was only showing who he really is, which he believed was the one of the main points of staying inside the house. Even though the jury were stingy with the words they threw at him, they decided that Tibo was just truly being himself. “Marami na siyang pinagdaanan sa buhay kaya marami talaga siyang advice (He already went through a lot in his life, that’s why he has many pieces of advice to share),” Cathy noted.

Hermes’s and Johan’s interrogation were expectedly topped with a lot of Cathy-related issues. The first question threw at Hermes was from Cathy, asking if he missed her. But before he could finish his answer (which was a hearty yes), another question shot through – “Do you miss Kaitlin (of Finland)?” which Hermes also answered with a yes. That made Cathy went off and demanded to know whom Hermes missed more. “Siyempre, ikaw (Of course, you),” Hermes said, almost as-a-matter-of-factly. “Yung miss ko sa ‘yo eh iba naman sa kanya (The way I miss you is different than how I feel about her).”

On the other hand, Johan fought for his feelings all throughout his session with the jury. Without hesitation, he looked them in the eyes and said, “Gusto ko siya (Cathy), gusto ko siyang ligawan, gusto ko siyang maging girl friend (I like her, I want to court her, I want her to be my girl friend).” It sounded utterly convincing thus having the jury commend with his outpouring.

after the hot interrogation of the housemates, another House Guest entered the BB house.

Senator Loren Legarda

Serious matters call for serious measures, hence the visit of Senator Loren Legarda inside the Big Brother House. Dressed as a cleaning lady in white, she joined the housemates in their gardening project. The housemates were obviously speechless at first for they never imagined a senator entering the house just to visit. But when Sen. Legarda started on warming up with them by checking on with the progress of their gardening project, they eventually opened up to her, especially during the discussion of the causes and effects of climate change and the benefits of solid waste management. She also asked the housemates about their experiences and learning inside the house. Among the ones who answered were Paul Jake and Tibo who said they have grown more mature mentally and personality wise inside the house.

going back to business, after the topic about the latest house guest, voting lines have been closed and votes have been counted. Toni, announced the first housemate to be saved (unknown to the housemates, the public are the one who still controls the eviction).

it was Kath saved first, then followed by johan. then tibo and hermes was left out.

then after the commercial break, Toni announced that Tibo is the last housemate saved.

as you can see, Hermes was saved if only save votes are only counted, but he was evicted because of the large number of people who wanted him to be out.

He was welcomed by the public, with the revelation to him that the public is still the one who decides the eviction.

after Hermes’ eviction, the result of the Char Char change was revealed. and it was a result that i expected.

After the revelations, the Kuya’s Darling was revealed.

Public was curious why Yuri, Rica and Princess are not still going out of the house. then TOni said that they were currently talking to Big Brother.

Big Brother revealed that the 3 new Houseplayers will be Rica, Princess and Yuri. They will be the House players on whom the public will control on.

Big Brother said that they would pretend that the 3 eggs that were broken by Melai, Hermes and Jason, the consequence will be the entrance of 3 ex housemates competing again. (but again, its just a big task for the 3 darlings.)

as i watch live stream now, the 3 house players entered the house, and the housemates are still on the state of shock. lol

22 days to go before the Big Night.

it was really a great week for the housemates and as well for the public. we have witnessed the real actions and happenings on the house as the ex housemates triggered to make the housemates show who really they are.

Some were pissed off because off the task, but some felt more confidence and lose hope till the very end of the week!! Congrats housemates!!

the public was able to see the real identity of the housemates and as well with their principles in life that varies from one another.

the remarkable line from Paul Jake: “all people have their own good side, as well as the bad side.there’s nothing wrong with that, as long as you are true to yourself.”

great isn’t it?.

i’ll just make a short summary of the happenings from day 108-110.(but probably, day 109 in primetime). first, housemates have discussed and they were able to have an open forum for it. Melai, Jason, hermes, believed that the tower and eggs were not the real task, but it is to maintain the friendship with other people, and to maintain the peacefulness among them.

Obviously shaken with the pressure of the never-ending challenges they undergo, the housemates discussed trust with each other the same night after their peace was momentarily disturbed by the visits of their ex-housemates. All of them asked themselves about which weighed more in their lives for the moment: was it friendship or was it the task Big Brother had given them for the week?

Everybody had their opinion for this matter. Jason and Melai were on the same side, believing that they should have just let the ex-housemates do whatever they needed to do to them or their place. The rest of the housemates disagreed with them, especially Tibo who dared to ask the two of whose side they were really on. But Jason immediately reasoned out the importance of not hurting anyone – physically or emotionally – inside the house. “Ano’ng mas gusto mo: masira yan (towers) o magkasiraan tayo? (Which do you prefer: those (towers) broken or our (housemates) ties broken?)”

On the other hand, Big Brother talked to the ex-housemates in House B on whom they think were the truest among the housemates during their psywar attack. Rica and Princess both chose Paul Jake and Mariel, saying they were the only ones who showed real reactions. “They really came out of their shells,” she stressed.

Going back to the housemates, they weren’t able to down to a final decision on their priority dilemma because a ceasefire was implemented between them and the resbak attackers. This was because of the Uber game they all had to play, in which the housemates played as houseflies – in complete costume and all – and the ex-housemates – with their giant swatter to shoo away the housemates – as the guardians of the balls the former had to collect from the containers they guarded. Perhaps the stress of seeing their ex-housemates once again caused the housemates to fail to execute their strategies properly in turn, making them lose the game.

And sadly, that wasn’t their only loss for that day. Because later that night, the ex-housemates attacked the twin towers of dominoes. Sure, the housemates were ready to fight but it seemed like luck wasn’t on their side that night. After one of the black-hooded attackers smashed one of the towers, the other one also fell down only moments after. The sadness and frustration of the housemates couldn’t be denied from the heavy looks that loomed their faces.

But just when everybody thought they had endured enough losses for the day, it was found out that Hermes’s baby egg got crushed under his weight while he sat down rebuilding the fallen towers. Even though it was clearly an accident, he couldn’t help but feel guilty for having slashed a big amount from the money prize of the future Big Four. “Sorry sa mga magbi-Big Four; promise babayaran ko sa labas (Sorry to those who will be in the Big Four; I promise I’ll pay for it outside),” he apologized.

rebuilding the towers

The second face-off between the housemates and the ex-housemates happened through another 45k-worth of game which followed the pattern of the magician’s magic cups. The ex-housemates were to hide inside life-sized boxes and shuffle themselves while the housemates chose which of them contained the respective ex-housemates Big Brother assigned them to find. Jason played first and was successful in picking the boxes which contained Delio, Kenny and Princess. So was the same with Tibo and Mariel who each guessed correctly with their selection, which were Rica, Princess and Rob and Patrick, Princess and Yuri respectively. Melai, however, failed to name the housemate -which was Ron – inside one of her chosen boxes correctly. As a consequence, she got sprayed on the face with a foamy shaving cream. The game went on until Big Brother gave out the result: the housemates once again failed to earn the victory.

Another occurence the housemates overlooked was the visit of resbak attackers Kenny and Delio. Sure, when the two entered the house, the housemates – especially Melai, Jason and Tibo – were quick on their toes on not trusting the visitors to come out to the swimming pool area where their twin towers of dominoes were. However, as Kenny and Delio were determined to ace their part in the major plan of attacking the housemates, they slowly gained the trust and affection of several housemates.

But just when things were getting comfortable around the visitors and the housemates, Rob and Princess suddenly appeared on the pedestal hovering the pool area and started attacking the twin towers. Simultaneously, Delio started on with his real intention in entering the house and that was to crush the housemates’ baby eggs. He succeeded when Jason absentmindedly handed over his and by also challenging Melai to also offer hers as a symbol of her being true to her words of money being not important to her. “O sige, panatilihing nakatayo ang towers pero kung nagkakasiraan na tayo, ako na mismo ang babasag niyan (Okay, keep the towers standing, but if that meant ruining our friendships, I myself will destroy those),” Melai expressed, in reference to her opinion about friendship versus task. This stemmed on to an instant open forum among the housemates, of which Johan started. He pinpointed that although he hated a person with an arrogant behavior such as Paul Jake, he tries his best to get along. In reply, Paul Jake just calmly said that he didn’t care because that was who he was. Later on in his talk with Big Brother in the confession room, he shared a deep thought that would have been helpful to the current emotional state of the housemates inside the house.

While the housemates carried on in opening their real feelings about each other, the resbak attackers took this as a cue to enter the pool area. Clad in full combat attire, they marched in like soldiers and shocked the housemates with their appearance. And unlike in action movies where the leading stars are winners, the housemates lost their most protected treasure – which was the twin towers of dominoes – to the villains. Upon this downfall, Big Brother called out to the all of the housemates and announced that he was putting a stop to the battle waged between the two groups. With that, the resbak attackers scurried off to House B while the housemates started building their towers once again.

However, not all of the housemates believed they still had to go on with the task Big Brother gave them. Two of these were Melai and Jason, who stopped helping the others in rebuilding. Not only that, they tried convincing the others to stop working and just letting the resbak attackers win the task. Hermes, probably moved by their arguments, quit and joined Melason on their sleeping mats by the pool. The other housemates, especially Mariel and Paul Jake, were unfazed and still went on to push through with the weekly task.

but just after a while, another attack happened, while mariel, kath, paul jake tibo, and johan protected the tower against the ex housemates. it was really indeed a very sad moment!! it took y heart into pieces seeing the housemates looking so tired but still, protecting the towers with all their might. =’(

on the other hand, the other three were watching them.=’( they have really made up their mind.

Big Brother (or KUYA in our language, i supposedly used it before) said that if they were able to maintain the tower standing before the sunrise, they will pass. then, from midnight up to the morning, it was an unstoppable fight between the ex housemates and housemates (throwing and hitting each other with plastic bags with water).imagine that, from midnight up to morning, they were consecutively throwing and protecting the tower. how poor and harsh! soooo tiring! then, when the ex housemates run out of their weapon, they decided to stop. this also led Kuya to decide and announced that the guarding task with the tower is done. hohh!! i felt pity for them, but i am also proud! Coz, from now on, they are all deserving to be in the big 4!

..though it was a tiring week, tomorrow’s episode will never be stopped. it’s going to be another live eviction, and one of the nominees,(Tibo, Kath, Johan and hermes) will be booted out of the house. Still, unknown to them, the public is currently voting. they still believed that they were the one deciding for the latest evictee.  I hope hermes would not be evicted, he’s fine with me now, as well with the other housemates.

..But wait!! if you think that ex housemates were done on their part, no no no!! they are still on the house and they are not yet finished with their business. As what i’ve knew, the ex housemates will decide for the week’s HOH. the process was based on the interrogation they’ve done with the housemates in a black room, where they also wear black attires. they asked some issues and clarifications. all connected to the upbringing of the “REAL” identity of the housemates for the public to choose the Big Winner.this latest HOH game will be televised tomorrow on the eviction night.

ANOTHER ANNOUNCEMENT!!

..if you think Kuya is also done with his twist, oh..another no no no!!

because, before tonight’s show was finished, it was announced that 3 HOUSEPLAYERS will enter the big brother house on sunday. Big Brother is now giving the full control to the public to know the real housemates from those who are still playing safe. Houseplayers are those who will execute the public’s will for the show. basically, it is based on text poll results. like, “who is the housemate you want for the houseplayer to argue with?. or who among the remaining housemates you want for the houseplayer to nominate.?”

it was revealed that three (3) females will be public’s houseplayers. THey were called “KUYA’ DARLING” (based on charlie’ s angels) (kuya=Big Brother)

The resback attackers went on a plan after Tom had voluntarily exit the house. Kenny came right after it and replaced him. Ex-housemates entered House A in the order of  Rica/Cathy, Yuri/Patrick, and Princess/Rob in a bid to test the housemates’ emotions and mental stability. The housemates thought the visitors were trying to put down their guard so someone else could sneak in and destroy the towers. Princess, who brought her own egg, created the biggest scene among the seven ex-housemates as she tried to hit the domino towers and almost came to blows with Mariel. But before that, let me discuss the first pair, cathy and rica. it was an unexpected visit from the two of them (especially to hermes and johan for cathy.) Cathy had a plan to talk and used the two guys for them to sneak and destroy the tower. But because of the pressure and the unexplained happenings, johan and hermes chose not to talk to cathy even cathy is badly asking for it,even for just a minute. (lol, poor cathy, no one wants to talk to her.) hermes said that he would choose to talk to cathy in the outside world while johan remained silent. their entrance were being watched by the ex housemates on house B. it was a hot confrontation to cathy johan and hermes. i was expecting hot comments from rica,but it seems that she played as a fake visitor instead. because no one wants to talk to them, they chose to go back to house B. next pair was yuri and patrick. their plan was to pretend that they dont know everything and acted that they were happy seeing them again and re entering the house. but it seems that their act was unbelievable for the housemates. Mariel, who happened to be the closest friend of yuri did not talk to her. (even just a “HI”).

because it seemed that they were not entertained, they also returned to house b as another failure.

If the preceding walk-ins of ex-housemates Delio, Cathy, Rica, Patrick and Yuri weren’t successful in swaying the housemates to the desired outcome of the resbak attackers’ planned psychological warfare, then the last visit from Rob and Princess did the trick. And with what happened, Big Brother might just have gotten more than what he bargained for. third and last  but definitely the most exciting pair of ex housemates who entered house A was princess and Rob. they brought up the plan that they would have a dirty and bad confrontation with the housemates!.

Serious with their given task, Princess and Rob entered the house prepared to juice out the real temperaments of the housemates. But the latter were already subdued with all the disturbance sporadically peppered on them so in result, they did not handle the visit very well. Especially that Princess, making Rob look like Mr. Nicest Guy, did not hold anything back.

Once started, Princess couldn’t help but raged on into full bitch mode. She started picking on the housemates, citing them the not-so-nice things they said about their fellow housemates during nominations. This fired Mariel up enough that she told tell Princess to leave the house already. Only encouraged, the latter strongly rebutted with, “Baka ikaw ang gustong umalis – bahay mo ‘to? (Maybe you’re the one who wants to leave – is this your house?)” and continued swinging around and annoying the housemates by the pool.

The little exchange only turned into a bigger cat fight when Mariel kept on yelling at Princess and Rob to leave as they were not welcome in the house. This was only greeted with Princess’s spiteful words, “Do you think you’re welcome here – or anywhere?” The rest of the housemates knew then that the confrontation was getting messy thus the boys – Paul Jake, Hermes and Johan – intervened.

But Princess was unstoppable that not even Rob, her fellow resbak attacker, could overtake. She continued raging Mariel, who was the most affected amongst the housemates. She taunted with, “You think you’re deserving to be a housemate?” to which Mariel daringly replied with, “Well, at least, I’m still a housemate – deserving or not!” That gained cheers and applause from the rest of the resbak attackers, who were watching through the plasma TV in House B’s living room.

More so, even though she was manned by Paul Jake, Princess got to throw eggs to the twin towers of dominoes guarded by Tibo in the middle of the pool. This scene totally tipped Mariel over to the edge and yanked Princess by the arm to get her away from the pool and make her leave the house. In defense, Princess punched her on the right shoulder which resulted to a more chaotic atmosphere for the housemates. That was when Paul Jake begged for Rob and Princess to leave because they didn’t know anymore how to handle them.

When the two left, the housemates discussed the recent events and were confuzzled about what task Big Brother truly was giving them: was it to measure their views on the importance of money or was it to gauge their desire on winning the victory?

and yes! it was really a big hit! Lol

wooh! this was the first time for pbb to have a physical fight (but it was a task by big brother for the ex housemates.)

that’ s for today.

Tomorrow’s episode will be about the exciting 1st game the housemates and ex housemates done face to face. and tomorrow, kenny (the one who replaced tom) was able to hit the tower(the one on left, because they made two towers). i will further elaborate and discussed it together with Day 108. (probably, on 01-23-10 post)

one word.    …     EXCITING!

supposedly, i was going to post my update about pbb for tomorrow(which discusses about day 107 and 108 respectively) but because of the actions and exciting happenings inside the house that was featured on today’s episode, i cant help but to share it with you guys.

For the weekly task of the remaining housemates, it seems to be easy and fun at the first look. but what will it make so exciting and too harsh is because of the ex housemates. For this week, they were instructed by Big Brother to build a tower of dominoes in the middle of the pool and they have to maintained it standing through out the week. In addition, Big Brother told them that this week’s prize is not only their weekly budget but also their pot money (reserved for the Big 4). Together with this is a “taking care” of colored eggs on which each housemate has to protect two eggs worth 20,000 pesos each. The eggs should be always visible to Big Brother’s eye and they are only allowed to pass it to another housemate if there is a necessary thing to do. (like taking care of the tower).

sounds easy?..but wait, if the housemates’ task is to protect their tower and the eggs, probably, the tasks of the ex housemates are totally opposite to it. the ex housemates should destroy the tower at all cost, and should grab the eggs! (with the help and support of Big Brother).

as you can see, Big Brother provided the things needed by the ex housemates to ruin the weekly task.

Another help from Big Brother was the timely monitor to the housemates on their reactions whenever a attack happens. (unfair for the part of the housemates, but it gives more exciting as it is.)

But don’t think the housemates got scared because they didn’t! Instead of shaking in their slippers, they put security measures all over the place such as plates on the overheads of the main doors. This was so that they would hear whenever someone tried to enter their place. This was a great idea by Tibo, but what they really should do is to be alert 24/7.

while constructing the tower, Melisa was the first one to notice that there were other housemates living right on the nest house.(HOUSE B) She shouted as “LOOK!! I JUST SAW HANDS!!!MEANING THERE IS SOMEONE OUT THERE!!”

..this situation made the ex housemates extra careful on observing the housemates on the top of the roof. As seen on the Picture. but when Melisa caught the 2nd try of look out, Rica gave them a dirty finger on which the housemates reacted on.

But again, don’t think that someone didn’t visit the housemates because somebody did! Delio, sent by his fellow attackers from House B, entered the house, saying he was there to cook Batangeñong kaldereta for them. Although suspicious about their former housemate’s intentions, they slowly opened up to Delio and told them about the recent attacks they have received from the other part of the Big Brother House. And from time to time, they would try to catch Delio to spill about his real mission but he remained to appear clueless so as not to ruin the whole plot of the resback attack.

while Jason and Melai were talking to delio, House B attacks! they throw ice water bags toward the tower and everywhere. But what did the housemates prepared for them?..well, pales of mud, mud with pees (urine) and water. they tried to attack too.the ex housemates were even have the chance to attack directly paul jake and tibo. (they were able to hit Tibo on the face and Paul Jake on his chest through the water bags.) while on the other hand, Princess was a bit of too harsh talking to Tom that made him to voluntarily exit the house. (lol! in fairness to them, they were also pressured!!). He was then replaced by Kenny, another evicted housemate, one of the Santos twins.

When delio decided to go back to house B, he talked to Big Brother that he felt guilty on what he is doing. He said that the housemates were good to him, knowing the fact that he could betray them. He instantly cried in the confession room.(me too, i was touched)

..Later on, two of the resbak attackers climbed up the roof and started pissing off the housemates in House A. Unknown to the housemates at that time, those two that yelled mean and provoking comments (such as “Tan-aw nimo na-inlab jud sa imo si Jason (Do you really think Jason’s in love with you?” to Melai and “Tiguwang na nagmamalinis (An old man who always come clean)” to Tibo) were their ex-housemates Princess and Rica.

after the exciting throwing of everything in the air, a ceasefire was announced by Big Brother because of the arrival of a celebrity HouseGuest. it was the MegaStar of the Philippines, Ms. Sharon Cuneta. Johan, refused to open the door at first and even forced to lock the gates for he thought that it was another attack. but when Big Brother said,”CEASEFIRE!!” a white flag was raised inserted into the gate.(that was MeagStar)

She brought some foods, (remember, the ex housemates ransack their foods) and a bucket of encouraging words to the housemates so that they would not lose hope in the current battle. She was also able to had a quick house tour guided of course by the housemates. (Tibo that time was still guarding the tower. i feel pity on him, he looks so haggard.) All of the housemates were tired but because of the HouseGuest they were able to gain some energy again.

the housemates are not going to sleep and are all alert for the new atack that will take place. For tomorrow, an exciting preview was shown and i am sure that all filipino fans are waiting for tomorrow!!

Princess and Rob entered House A and directly hit the tower. She had a bad conversation with mariel and to the other housemates through her direct and foul comments to each of the housemates.(i love her!!she’s just too natural!too bad!) the remarkable lines were

Mariel: “YOU’RE NOT SO NICE MAYBE YOU WANT TO GO OUT?!”

PRINCESS: “WHY ME?..MAYBE YOU?..WHY ME?..IS THIS YOUR HOUSE?”

after it, she instantly and consecutively hit the tower right in front of the housemates!! then Mariel came to her and a big fight happens!!(like an soap opera!! antagonist VS antagonist!! (lol) …it will be featured on tomorrow’s episode!!

so exciting!!!

its very fun to watch PBB (thinking that 4 weeks from now, Big Winner will be hailed) and Big Brother doesn’t seem to lose twists and surprises. It just got to bigger and bigger from now on.
I can really say that this week, will be the most intriguing week for the 8 remaining housemates. And its all because of the RESBACK ATTACK twist. (i think, housemates still have no idea on it).

But before that, for this week, the HOH game was also controversial as the return of the ex housemates. For this week’s HoH challenge, the housemates were stationed in the activity area with a bucket of slime each. Each will pour slime over the housemate whom they think is the one who most exhibits a particular bad trait. The correct answer was flashed on the plasma screen, based on an earlier survey answered by the housemates themselves. Hermes was named the one who is most “pa-cute”, while Johan got voted for being easily irritated and Melai for being the most irritating. Paul Jake and Jason got two titles each, while Tibo got a whopping three. Paul Jake was tagged the most arrogant and “maarte”, while Jason was named “bastos” and a liar. Tibo had a difficult time sustaining his smile after being slimed for being too full of himself, tagged “nagmamalinis and nagmamarunong”. He also shared the top spot for being plastic with Mariel.

With 11 correct points, Mariel took over as the week’s Head of House. Hermes, who got a measly 3 points, opted for Automatic Nomination after landing on the last place. This decision came to him after a night of pondering. He figured that it was by his own hand that he ended up last, and no other person should have to be burdened by his failure.

Tibo got 5 points for his negativity and his self-righteousness. Johan also got 5 points for being attention-seeking and easily irritated. Another point raised against him was the vibe that he was only playing with Cathy and was using their tandem to seek the limelight. Kath, who was rarely nominated, got 4 points for being two-faced and too quiet. For the 13th nomination night, half of the housemates were saved, but this does not mean that they were saved from harsh critiques from their peers. Quite a number had issues with Jason and Paul Jake, concerns that were echoes of the traits in the HoH challenge.

Unknown to the housemates, the ex housemates watched their performance on the latest HOH battle and commented on them.

This week’s nominees are Tibo, Johan, Kath and Hermes.

the following are the housemates nominated by their fellow housemates with some of their reason.(as what i remember)
HERMES – himself, because he thinks that he should be responsible for his own acts. But personally, i think he wanted to be evicted because he thought that cathy was in the outside world and he wanted to follow her. (if he only know..lol)

JASON – Tibo & Johan, Tibo for his self – righteousness, and Johan because he thinks that he only plays with cathy.

JOHAN – Paul Jake and Jason, – because of their rudeness.

KATH – Tibo and Paul Jake, for their self right righteousness.(i think so)_
MARIEL – Kath and Melisa. for kath, because she thought that she was her friend but after the HOH battle, she found out that kath doesn’t like her. From Kath,-”She’s nonsense”. and for melisa, because she thinks that melisa is the reason for her noisiness in the house resulting to the hatred of the other housemates to her.
MELISA – Johan and Tibo,i can’t remeber so well, but for Tibo, its still thea same reason like from the other housemates.
PAUL JAKE- kath and johan
TIBO – kath and jason. Jason for her rudeness and kath for being plastic to him.
The housemates still have no idea that the voting system by the people still prevailed, and were led to believe that the eviction decision was in their hands. Whatever laughs and easy banter between the 8 remaining housemates were inevitably tainted by this supposition, and even more so by the HoH challenge. This was evident in the way most of them nominated against those who tagged them with particular bad traits, exposing their wariness of each other’s sincerity and putting them on competition mode.

So far. the housemates’ real traits are seen because of the too personal tasks by Big Brother.
and discussing about the RESBACK ATTACK,
Revenge is sweet for the ex-housemates. The first morning after they reentered the Big Brother house, Big Brother called them into the confession room and gave them their first task for the resbak attack. It was to ransack the place and things of the remaining housemates while they were asleep.

So once the resbak attackers were given the go signal, they quickly entered the house to get their work done. They started with dumping mud all over the place, throwing and trashing clothes, food and other stuff in the middle and ended up with spraying graffiti on the glass walls of the house.

the picture shows the writings of the ex housemates saying “YOU ARE ALL PLASTIC!!YOU DON”T DESERVE TO STAY AND DO VOLUNTARY EXIT NOW!!”
..one remarkable reaction from paul jake was, “VOLUNTARY EXIT?..oh..are they insane/dumb?..its about a few weeks for the finals, why would i?..”…..lol
..Hermes and the other boys were the first one to be up during the wake-up call. Probably going to the toilet, Hermes opened the door and in turn, saw the mess outside their room. On the other side, Mariel was the first to come out of the girls’ room, followed by Melai, who also saw just how dirty and devastated the state of their house was..everything was ruined by the ex housemates. i find them too harsh but at the same time so exciting for this is what i really want!..lol!
MAriel further noticed another remark that went “Darlings, we are back” which led her to form an idea about ex-housemates returning into the house. This thought was supported by Paul Jake, Melai and Kath who all believed it was really their former housemates who turned their house into that mess. But as they could not prove anything yet, they turned to cleaning out their place without even eating breakfast first.

That afternoon, the second resbak attack occurred. The housemates were made to listen to the bantering and criticizing of the ex-housemates, which were only in House B. Of course, they swiftly recognized the voices of Rica, Patrick, Tom, Rob, Princess, Cathy, Yuri and Delio, who were giving out their opinions about the housemates straightforwardly. For instance, they pointed out how Mariel and Kath were “nonsense” and had “no depth,” Johan as a conniving wallflower and Tibo as the housemate who not only always wanted to come clean but also wanted to be the one leading the way for all of the housemates. Later on, some of them took the critics to heart and even talked about it before going to sleep.MAriel, on what i saw from her,,..ohh! it looks like that its going to be a WAR!!..lol

another, it was also revealed that 250 thousand peseos will be deducted from the big 4′s prizes. So, i theorized, that the exhousemates will further continue and will perform their very best just to win.

tomorrow, it will be another great and exciting day for the weekly task of the housemates. as what the preview showed, housemates were trying to protect a tower of (i just think) dominoes in the middle of the swimming pool while the ex housemates on the house B tries to destroy it by throwing some kind of a thing with water explosion. too exciting and too bad,..hehe..

VERY AMAZING!!

..wooh.. today was a great episode and a live eviction! This day, public was in a state of surprise because of the twists and the shocking happenings inside the house.
..aside from the expected eviction, the issues and topics discussed(considered as “other stories of the day”), were the TRO MELASON act of 2010, where melai and jason prohibited to come in contact to each other. to remove the said TRO, a special celebrity house guest was invited to discussed about the lessons that Melai and Jason have learned from the TRO. the celebrity was COCO MARTIN, a multi awarded actor in the philippines. Mariel and Melisa both admire him for his handsomeness and an excellent act on Soap Operas.

these are some of the highlights of his entrance in the house.

.he was first instructed by Big Brother to wear mask to hide his face to the housemate and it could only be remove once a girl housemate kiss him. Fortunately, Melai and Mariel kissed him, making him to removed the mask. the housemates were stars trucked with him. after that, he then discussed the issues regarding Melai and Jason. After the discussion, the housemates prepared a meal for him and they ate all together. after the dinner,(i am not sure if it is a dinner or lunch) Mariel and Melai asked for an autograph.

after coco’s departure, TRO was removed by Judge Rica Paras.(ex housemate)

..while waiting for the voting line to be closed,(which is unknown for the housemates)Toni(the host) talked to the housemates. She asked cathy, (one of the nominees) if she was the one leaving tonight, who would she choose to hug lastly,Johan or Hermes?. Cathy replied as quick as she can and as what i was expecting, she chose Hermes.

..Before i continue..hold your breath for the unexpected birthday surprise of Big Brother to Toni (host of the show since in the beginning of the pbb in philippines) who happened to celebrate her birthday for the first time that the big brother house is open. since this is her 1st time bday to celebrate, right after she talked to the housemate, Mariel R. and Bianca G. (co hosts of Toni) entered the room where Toni talks to the housemates. with toni’s surprise she keep on asking what was happening. Bianca and Mariel greeted her then instructed her to wear the blind fold and she must enter the big brother house.(little trivia, on celebrity edition 2, toni was shockingly invited by big brother to be an celebrity houseguest and stayed for the house for 1 week.) the next happening was that she was on the confession room, talking to Big Brother. Big Brother sent his bday messages to toni and a surprised that had made the public shocked. Big Brother offered her to hug him.YES! Big Brother hug Toni.!!!

Now, going back to the real show, Char Char Change had already started. (housemates vote to evict the housemate of their choice, but still, its a plain test of character and the public still holds the power to save and evict).
Char Char Change is still on the house and effective until the further notice of Big Brother. As toni talked to the housemates, she hid the fact that the public had already finished voting and lines are have been closed. She informed the housemates that they were the one who chose the latest evictee.

Then, Toni started announcing the names of the saved housemates.She first announced Tibo, followed by Mariel. Third was Melisa(my and the public’s favorite). Cathy and Hermes(part of the love triangle in the house) was left behind. after the break, Toni announced and proclaimed Cathy as the latest evictee.(again, as what the housemate know, they were the one who decided it.)

Big Brother then revealed to cathy that she will not yet leave the house although she is evicted, because she will be part of the latest twist. She and the ex housemates will live in the HOUSE B.
on the other hand, this is still unknown to the housemates left.

the public was sort of angry to him for his questionable jealousy to katlin during his stay in the house. As what i also see on him(even the public,i think) he only wanted to stay on Katlin’s side all the time. he was evicted with 10.20% of votes versus the other three housemates. the public voted to saved their favorite housemate. Although, this percentage is quite high for an evictee of the season.(you’ll know why later on as you continue to read)

she was the first female housemate (i think she would be the last) for this season. She was forcibly evicted for her violation against the law of Big Brother. i found her too boring at first for i though she was safe playing. but later on, she was remarkably remembered by the people for her being fond to gossips (inside the house) and too hard headed for committing many violations. i think she deserves her forced eviction. she then later revealed that it was really her fault for being careless in terms of her actions.

He was the third Housemate to be evicted with a percentage of 5.43% to save. He was seen by the public as a daddy always in times of confronting and arguing with his younger housemates. there were a lot of misunderstanding during his stay that made the public decided to save the other housemates on the track list.(Jason,Tom,Patrick,Mariel) On a weekly task(naked fan dance)he was arguing about the steps with his other fellow housemates. even in the time of the big swap, he was arguing with the same reason.(right in front of Kaitin of Finland) i think the public were ashamed for his manners in front of a visitor. (as you know guys, Filipino people are very hospitable).
He lived in HOUSE A, making him as the first official evictee of group A.

* Day 29: Kätlin arrived in the Philippines and entered the Pinoy Big Brother house. She chose Group B’s artwork and thus entered House A, to which she was welcomed with a pool party. Katlin brought a bottle of liquor, which Mariel and Rob drank in copious amounts. However, their drunken behavior turned off the housemates and led Big Brother to have Hermes watch over Mariel.
* Day 30: In House A, Mariel and Rob apologized to Kätlin for their drunken behavior the previous night and compensate by being her servants for the day. In House B, Delio’s lack of participation in the weekly task This Is Stitch becomes a subject of heated discussion between him and Melai, with Delio even proposing a voluntary exit.
* Day 31: Kätlin transferred to House B bringing her favorite Estonian dish, plov, for breakfast. Delio once again lost his temper, this time during their practice of the folk dance Pandanggo sa Ilaw and with Jason’s lack of participation. House B had a celebratory party for their success in the spider fighting task, which led to Delio’s intoxication and another threat of voluntarily exiting the house. In House A, Rob was shown his actions during the welcome party for Kätlin, and apologized to Yuri for his actions.
* Day 32: In House B, Big Brother Finland spoke with Kätlin, Melisa and Johan in Suomi. Cathy was able to have a Skype video call with Big Brother and the housemates, including Kätlin. Later that day, Kätlin transferred back to House A. Big Brother told Kätlin that the weekly task will depend on the housemates’ hospitality to her as the visitor, which she will judge.
* Day 33: In House A, Big Brother Finland spoke to Kätlin and Hermes in Finnish. The housemates from both houses performed their cultural variety shows. Big Brother later revealed to both houses the truth behind their weekly task. Kätlin chose House A, for she felt more warmth with them.
* Day 34: Kätlin left the Pinoy Big Brother house.
It was announced by the program on Day 21 (October 24, 2009) that another Big Brother Swap would take place. This time, one from either House would trade places with another housemate from another foreign edition of Big Brother. This would also be the second time that Pinoy Big Brother linked up with other foreign versions of the show, Season 2 being the first, when housemate Bruce Quebral traded places with Tina Semolič from the first season of Big Brother Slovenia.

On Day 26, it was announced by the host that the show would be swapping housemates with Big Brother Finland’s fifth season. On Oct. 29, 2009, ABS-CBN’s Youtube channel, iABS-CBN [6], uploaded a video confirming that the housemate from Big Brother Finland who will swap places in the Philippines is Kätlin Laas (video), a 22-year-old food processing plant worker originally from Rakvere, Estonia but migrated to Finland at the age of 16, and is currently living in Seinäjoki, Finland. On Day 27, it was announced that Cathy from Group A, then currently living in House B, would be swapping with Kätlin and would be going to Finland to live in their Big Brother House for a week. Cathy’s selection was made through a series of tasks on which the housemates underwent on the watchful eyes of the Finnish producers.

Kätlin left the Big Brother Finland House on Day 26 (Day 66 of the Finnish version) and enter either Philippine House on Day 29 (Day 69 of the Finnish version). She was supposed to arrive in the Philippines and enter either House the day before, but her flight was delayed due to weather disturbances caused by Typhoon Santi. Hours before her entrance, she had a brief appearance on the show The Buzz. On the other hand, Cathy was supposed to leave in the morning of Day 28 (Day 68 of the Finnish version) but their flight was postponed to a later hour of the day.

Much like the first Big Swap, events from both Houses are chronicled. Also, all conversations in English are subtitled in Filipino and all Finnish conversations and confessions are dubbed over by Filipino voice actors. For the Finnish version, clips from the Philippine house are shown in the Big Brother Extra show, while conversations in English are subtitled in Suomi.

The Big Swap started on the evening of Day 29 (Day 69 of the Finnish version). Kätlin initially stayed in House A upon her arrival on Day 29. She transferred to House B on Day 31. On Day 32, Cathy and Kätlin were finally able to meet through a video call through Skype. Later that day, Kätlin returned to House A. She left the Philippine House on the morning of Day 34 (early morning of Day 74 of the Finnish version). She was briefly interviewed for the morning show Umagang Kay Ganda just after stepping outside the front door. Meanwhile, Cathy entered on the evening of Day 69 of the Finnish version (early morning of Day 30 of the Philippines version). She left six days later on the evening of Day 74 of the Finnish version (early morning of Day 35 of the Philippine version), signaling the end of the Big Swap.

Kätlin left the Philippines the same day she left the Pinoy Big Brother house and re-entered their house in the early morning of Day 75 of the Finnish version (Day 35 of the Philippine version). Cathy left Finland the morning after she left the Finnish Big Brother house and re-entered the Pinoy Big Brother house on the evening of Day 36 (Day 76 of the Finnish version).

as what always “swap” do..it really brightened the pbb and the filipino viewer. its always nice to see and to know more about a particular country. and i love all the housemates that were swap!

At House A, Tibo, Cathy, and Johan were shown a video of Princess telling Melisa that she regretted not nominating Delio in the first nomination round. The three were told that Princess was automatically nominated. The three relayed the news to their fellow housemates as well as a task to save her from the automatic nomination. However, Princess decided to voluntarily leave the house, not wanting to stress herself as well as her loved ones. The housemates only knew of her plan just minutes before the nomination show broadcast. At House B, Yhel and Mariel were told they were automatically nominated for discussing nominations and a task to excuse either one of them took place. While the task (which was to build a pyramid made of playing cards) resulted in lifting Mariel’s automatic nomination, she was still retained as a nominee due to the regular nomination results.
The Housemates were given five minutes to get their underwear and toiletries as they were told to switch houses. Later, after the switch, the housemates were given subtle hints about the upcoming Big Brother Swap.
In the wee hours, the Group B girls were given the chance to rank the Group A boys after watching videos of them stating their strengths and weaknesses. They ranked Paul Jake as the highest and Rob as the lowest. If the Group B girls are able to plant a kiss mark on Paul Jake’s cheeks without getting caught, then they would be able to get him as their new housemate or they would get Rob. As they failed their task, Group B got Rob as their new housemate. The Group A girls were given the choice to get a female housemate from the two choices of the Group B boys for swapping with the other house, Yhel and Carol. The Group A housemates chose Carol to be their new housemate. The housemates had a fake interview with fake Big Brother executives, purportedly from Big Brother Africa, Secret Story, and an actually non-existent Turkish version.
Big Brother allowed Rob to tell Tom and the other housemates in House A about Princess’ voluntary exit. Tom was given 100 seconds to speak with Princess from the outside world during the Über broadcast. In preparation for the Big Brother Swap, each housemate was tasked to promote themselves in a TV commercial. Big Brother stopped voting for the Second Eviction Night as Yhel was forcibly evicted due to her repetitive violation of show rules against talking about nominations.
For their lapel microphone violations, Kath, Tom and Yhel from Group B and Cathy, Paul Jake, Rica and Tibo from Group A, were tasked to bite onto a plastic bone, which they can only remove for a maximum of three minutes. Melisa was made into a mummy for her violation of speaking under the sheets while Jason was not to lie down and sleep or else his housemates will be forced to lie down as well.
The top ten finalists (Rica, Paul Jake, Cathy, Tibo and Melisa for Group A and Yuri, Hermes, Tom, Mariel and Patria for Group B) competed in a pageant of four stages, hosted by Mariel Rodriguez. Cathy won the right to undergo the Big Swap, with Kätlin Laas of Big Brother Finland taking her place in the Pinoy Big Brother House. Cathy packed her things from House A and the winter clothes given by Big Brother.

the nominated housemates for this week was delio, princess, yhel, carol(2nd time around) and mariel. since, princess had voluntarily left the house, she was removed from the list. but the eviction voting was discontinued for Yhel’s violation. She was forcibly evicted because of this violation. the violation was about talking to the housemates and dictating to them who should be nominated. She said that everyone should vote for hermes with 2 points each so that he could follow carol (who was living in the House B) ..Although she was kidding, it is in the rule book, that no one should talk about the nomination especially influencing the other housemates whom they should nominate. because of this, Mariel, Carol, Delio were saved from eviction.(–,)
Cathy left the house in the afternoon and flew to Finland later that evening.
